They flew Iraqi insurgent marked Bf-110's(probably Nazi pilots), I do have pictures in some of my history books showing them. You may be correct here as it very well may be Nazi pilots flying those Iraqi insurgent marked Bf-110's during that period in history.
gee, you aren't confused - you are just not paying attention.
oh, joy: yet another round of the moral-equivalency tango.
in answer to 1, 2, 3:
Christianity and Islam are not significantly different in their holy texts, eh?
OK, try this on for size:
You tried to equate Christianity with Islam. This is why I ask you to find even one passage, relating to religion and treatment of others, which fulfills the following requirements:
1. in the "catholic" post-Nicaea Christian testament (but I'll gladly throw it open to the Jewish book)
2. a literal...
3. plain-text...
4. indisputable...
5. ongoing present-tense (as opposed to a one-shot past-tense record of history/folklore - ie: Joshua)...
6. commandment from God (not a pope or a bishop or some >a-hem!< televangelist)...
7. as a directive to the believer to take literally and actively in the temporal realm
8. to do any or all of the following:
-a. to slay the heretic and non-believer,
-b. to forcibly convert the heretic and non-believer,
-c. to enslave the heretic and non-believer,
-d. to persecute the heretic and non-believer,
-e. to wage holy war upon the heretic and non-believer
9. Directly analogous to the dozens thereof in the Koran.
(so you know, things like II Thessalonians 1:8,9 don't count - that is God kicking ass, not his faithful doing so for him. An important distinction equivocators seem to like to sweep under the rug.)
Now, turnabout:
Find JUST ONE passage in either the Koran or the Sunnah which is the direct analogue of the Parable of the Samaritan, or the directive to the witness to leave an unbeliever in peace - to "knock the dust of his home from their soles as they leave" - rather than butcher him in zealous fury, or to the believer contained in I Cor 7:12-17, or I Cor 10:32, or II Cor 6:14-18, or Ephesians 6:10-12, or... do you get the point?
Find JUST ONE comparable passage in the Koran or the Sunnah.
Good luck - I have been looking for over a year and have not found any such analogues.
Mohammed, and the death-cult he let loose in the world, is bad because he and his cult are murderously psychopathic.
4. Oh, boy, you bought the party line, didn't you? Think about what you said very carefully. Examine actual history as you do so. You will discover that Islamic civilization PRODUCED nothing at all on its own, made almost no PROGRESS at all on its own (save for one man's development of algebra), and in all other ways caused DECLINE in civilization throughout its demense. It's tax code was stolen from Khusrau the Just - a Persian Emperor. It's famed "arabic numerals" were swiped from India. It's non-Islamic philosophy and science was inherited from the Byzantines and other earlier or muslim-conquered peoples. Avarroes was an aberration whose great thinking was never incorporated into Islamic thinking, philosophy, or religion.
5. If a stereotype fits reality, use it
6. Mohammed claimed absolute infallability in all things, and is credited with absolute infallability by all muslim theology and jurisprudence throughout history. By contrast, the catholic doctrine of Papal infallability was not established until 1869, and IIRC has been invoked exactly twice: once concerning Mary's "Immaculate Conception" and one other time, the matter of which I cannot recall. Large difference between Mohammedian and Papal "infallability", which I know you can see, but do not expect you to be solid enough to admit.
7. People who repeatedly demonstrate the fact that they cannot see are blind.
You are blind.
James J. Halley, The Author of "The Role of the Fighter in Air Warfare", ISBN-87165-023-1, Library of Congress Card No. 78-52523, published by Ziff-Davis Flying Books on page 97 has an illustration of a Bf-110D-3 of Luftwaffe 4/ZG 76, operating out of Raschid, Iraq, in May of 1941. "This unit operated in support of anti-British insurgent forces under Iraqi 'colors of convenience' ".
The Markings consisted of a black bordered green triangle
with a red diamondlike figure 8 in the triangle's center. The lower part of the 8 figure containing a small red diamond inside it.
So it was Nazi's operating in Iraq under the guise of insurgent Iraqi's.

Shot to #6 on the PA best seller list. Sells well in Jordan and Egypt, in London too I've read. I presume the popularity of the Arabic version is purely a function of historical interest rather than a common mindset.
"Hitler the soldier left behind not only a legend stained by tragedy itself; the tragedy of a state whose dreams were shattered, a regime whose pillars were torn down, and a political party that was crushed. Hitler was a man of ideology who bequeathed an ideological heritage whose decay is inconceivable. This ideological heritage includes politics, society, science, culture, and war as science and culture."
"The National Socialism that Hitler preached for and whose characteristics were presented in his book My Struggle, and whose principles he explained in his speeches before he took power, as well as during the 13 years he spent at the head of the German nation - this National Socialism did not die with the death of its herald. Rather, its seeds multiplied under each star."
"We cannot really understand the efforts of this man without examining the principles enclosed in his book My Struggle that the Nazis turned into the "Gospel of National Socialism."
"This translation of the book My Struggle has never been presented to Arab speakers. It is taken from the original text of the author, Adolf Hitler. The text was untouched by the censor. We made a point to deliver Hitler's opinions and theories on nationalism, regimes, and ethnicity without any changes because they are not yet outmoded and because we, in the Arab world, still proceed haphazardly in all three fields."
Luis Al-Haj, translator.
My number 63 post on this thread is for your reference. Some information it contains may be of your historical interest.

nice, very nice.
the islamapologists won't see it the way it is, but my thanks to you from those of us with open eyes.
Where are the exhortations to kill in the New Testament?
Mohammed is bad because he is Allah's prophet. Jesus is also considered to be a prophet to Islam, but one must ignore that fact and blame everything on Mohammed.
Did you read Koran and New Testament? Do you see any difference? Do you see a difference between the life example Christ and Muhammad have to their disciples?
Islamic civilization was one of the world's most progressive and modern until the 16th Century, A.D.
What was so progressive and modern? Living off the sweat and blood of enslaved Christians?
don't bother.
though not a christian myself, I can easily see the truth in the book, when it describes those who willfully embrace delusion being forever blinded by it.
LOL oops
Well duh! The question is, do you think it helps the argument to try and link them to Nazi's or do you think it immediately turns off 90% of the population who are tired of hearing about how everyone we don't like are Nazi's. I've heard Bush is a Nazi, Clinton is a Nazi, Gore is a Nazi, Cheney is a Nazi, Buchanan is a Nazi, etc, etc. The broad stroke of Nazi means nothing today and in fact it turns people away from the facts.
Arabs want to destroy Israel (and America by the way, it's not just Jews). Rather than just paint them with the broad brush of Nazi, we need to change their minds and heart by introducing freedoms and government reforms and overthrow. Eradicate the terrorist population and bring free enterprise to the region. There will always be the anti-Israel, anti-US groups but we can make them fringe groups by bringing a "middle-class" that is dependant on trade with other nations.
<< There is no "opposite end of the totalitarian political spectrum."
Thank you. I was going to post that, but you beat me to it. You are 100% right. I do not see a whole lot of difference between naziism, communism, and islamism. >>
You are also 100% Right. There is no effective difference.
Not among any of those three nor between them and "progressivism," "socialism," "democratic-socialism" and/or the politics of the vast criminal enterprises known in America as the "Democratic" party and in once-great Britain as Tiny Blair's "new Labour potty"
And you DID post it, to boot!
So, thank you. Too.
Blessings -- B A
LOL, regards.
Youre right, Bush isnt a Nazi, nor is Clinton, and Id agree the constant use of the term demeans the enormity of the evil of National Socialism.
However the connections between National Socialism and the Muslims of the Middle East and Eastern Europe, jihadists and Baathists too, is a historical fact. Recognizing the NAZI roots of their worldview, and their wahabbi roots, is certainly relevant if you wish to change their hearts and mines.
