Crowds Thin, Problems Few at Protests on Eve of G8

Police and media far outnumbered protesters at demonstrations today on the eve of the G8 Summit... It was a disappointing sight for activists who say heavy security had scared away many others.

....
Organizers has estimated about five- to ten-thousand people to attend that event, but today they lowered that projection to around one-thousand.

Officials say it's still too early to say whether things could turn ugly once the meeting begins.

On the radio, the report was that only 15 protesters had shown up......LOL

It appears that the ___ cop or gov, managed to "Outlaw"
busses for the protesters....... That is what the announcer said.

So far it appears that Georgia has several smart folks running it..

It will be a first, if they can actually have a safe meeting and not be overrun with the world's rabble rousers.

I don't blame them I wouldn't go to South Georgia except on my best behavior. And I grew up in Georgia. Down there if you go to jail it is for 3 days minium (or something like that) and high fines. I wonder if they know something we don't.
