"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia - Tens of American, European and other hostages were released Sunday and a gunman believed to be the lead Islamic militant holding them was arrested, a Saudi security official said, adding that two other gunmen were "in the process of being arrested."
We are the "Stotters" who make ourselves aware of the enemy who wishes to do us harm
Gawd, you are awesome. LOL.
LOL. My son taught me a little search trick for google -- if you are searching for a recent news story, use the google "news" search feature as opposed to the regular google search engine. This will sort out only the actual news stories related to your inquiry, first.
Back from a short, uneventful vacation. Now, to try and catch up on almost a week's worth of news!
Sheesh. Just some light reading huh?
^-^
Welcome Back! Hope you had fun on your vacation. Man I'm gonna need one here before long. It's been non-stop all morning. Finally things are starting to calm down.
Work sure does get in the way of my freeping time. Sheesh.

The message was posted by an individual with a history of providing credible information regarding the activities of Al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia. The group, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (or Arabian Island) is the same group that has conducted recent attacks on oil facilities in Yanbu and on the Oasis Residential Complex in Saudi Arabia.
Thanks for the tip. I really appreciate it. :)
I've read until my eyes have crossed. I'll be back later.
by specially the western and American airlines ; a direct target to our coming operations
I noticed that too Vel. Especially the "direct target to our coming operations".....
I understand.
I'm saying that it could also be a diversion for imminent attacks elsewhere.
I know I've said this to others when they post that perhaps they are being paranoid. I don't think you are paranoid. You are necessarily aware.
I agree, I think it is a feint.
Awwww. Is that Velveeta on the right? What a cutie!
My guess: Saudi will get hit hard, first, with the oil facilities targeted. The US will move troops to counter this. This will probably happen pretty quickly. Then they will hit here, while our forces are stretched thing.
Just my guess based in large part on what I've read on the Arabic boards.
Then again this could be their equivalent of crying "Fire" in a crowded theatre, and simply at attempt to cause terror fatigue. Then when we drop our guard and become complacent, WHAM.
planes and trains concern me the most right now, with respect to domestic incidents inside the US.
the longshot event - VX or Sarin. that story about the alleged Jordanian attack has been totally buried.
The Independent has recently reported that UN peacekeeping forces in the Congo have been raping and impregnating girls as young as thirteen years old in exchange for food.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This ERKS me to no end.
I apologize for everything and all things. I am truly sorry.
DC
That doesn't mean in any way that I think we are home free here - I'm talking about the really big attack.
I still would not be surprised at any point to hear of an attack in the US.
Point of concern: The jihadis have finished presenting their fitness program, and now everyone who reads Al Battar is supposed to be on a regime to maintain physical fitness. That means that they are ready whenever they get the word. That's frightening.
Interesting.
So much conjecture and prediction.
I hope that we are all wrong.
I fear that we are not.
FORT LAUDERDALE -- A Spirit Airlines jetliner bound for Atlantic City with 131 people aboard re-landed at the international airport Monday afternoon after the airline received a bomb threat.
The 126 passengers and five crewmembers exited Flight 262. No injuries were reported, said Jim Reynolds, spokesman for Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
The plane, an MD-80, was taken to a remote area at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport where the baggage was unloaded and searched, then the plane.
Spirit, meanwhile, was expected to bring in another airplane to take the passengers and their cleared baggage to their destination.
Reynolds said Flight 262 took off around 11 a.m. It re-landed at the airport at 12:10 a.m. after the airline received the threat.
Details of the threat were not immediately known.
