"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia - Tens of American, European and other hostages were released Sunday and a gunman believed to be the lead Islamic militant holding them was arrested, a Saudi security official said, adding that two other gunmen were "in the process of being arrested."
We are the "Stotters" who make ourselves aware of the enemy who wishes to do us harm
See my post 2224 - I believe that is EXACTLY what they want!
Plus- if they have targetted the DC-NY-Philly triangle with the nukes- maybe they hope that the prevailing winds will shift the fallout out to sea---and spare our agricultural areas....
I don't think they have any intention of wanting to inhabit our East Coast Cities.
Actually, in the context of all of this- one of the best places to visit might be Dearborn, Michigan ! :)
Even though I did some of the postings on the M3 situation (FR and elsewhere), I am now not so sure it is indicative of preparation for any kind of crisis. People who know much more about the money supply than I say that the Federal Reserve has little direct control of M3. In fact, the Fed has drained liquidity recently (including Friday).
The increase in M3 must be due to other factors (credit expansion, etc.). I think it is correct to say that "something is up" with M3, but the tie-in to the WOT is probably not justified at this point. I am much more interested in the naval deployment.
Yes, I agree with you, jerseygirl. Did you read the post about that? A recent post on an Arabic forum intimated that we could not easily protect both Saudi/our "oil" and our "troops." I think I read it translated over at IH the other day.
By the way, anymore updates as far as GWEN?
Did that just come out today? I've read this pages for years, but did they just refresh our memories today?
great post. Thank you!
Stay safe, everyone. The "library is closing"....
I'm new to this thread and it's fascinating if not scary. Has the promised total destruction of Mecca and Medina in retaliation for a major attach been discussed? These two fleabag cities seem to be all they live for. What kind of religion would they have if these two locations were glass. Bet they would really hate us then!

Did you guys see the Dengue Fever outbreak in Jeddah and Mecca. They have a bad problem with the Aedes mosquito. I saw mention of the "hardship" fever on the Arabic forums, did a little research, and learned that "Hardship Fever" is the Arabic term for "Dengue Fever".
It's viral - antibiotics don't work - and is spread by skeeters. They are apparantly implementing an aggressive mosquito killing program over there.
They apparantly had this problem last year too.
Mentioning it here so if you see reference to "Hardship Fever" and it being incurable that no one panics.
It's been updated.
TM THread 54! LOL - I need to stock up on coffee.
Have you guys read the stuff at ready.gov?
If there's a nuclear detonation, go inside, turn off the A/C and heat, go underground, an watch TV, radio, or check the internet for information.
Ummmm did they forget the EMP?
Good catch. And also what if there is no "underground" to escape to? I do have the Are You Ready book and it is very general in the sense that it is easy to read; but as you point out, it is short on some crucial specifics.

The taste of fresh aloe gel is really and truly awful, because the gel is mixed with the yellowish juice which is highly laxative and tastes absolutely vile. If one uses the fresh gel for ulcers, it has to be rinsed off and I would recommend blending it so it's not lumpy, with some kind of juice so it's bearable!
The stuff in bottles in the stores isn't anywhere as bad.
In case this has not been posted, going on now:
