KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia - Tens of American, European and other hostages were released Sunday and a gunman believed to be the lead Islamic militant holding them was arrested, a Saudi security official said, adding that two other gunmen were "in the process of being arrested."

I'm not sure what it means. It may indicate that what they are saying publicly about their plans may in fact be mirror images. There is some indication that the globe is mirrored in their code. Around Christmas there was a reference to Murrah in a message; everyone was concerned it was a reference to Oklahoma City and the Murrah building, which was destroy by McVeigh and Nichols. Instead there was some sort of explosion in Murra, India. There are references to this in an earlier TM thread - 1 or 2 probably.

My best guess at this point is that it is an indication we need to expect the unexpected, and that things may not actually be as they appear.

Or it could be some really bad poet just trying to write a poem.

Hard to tell for sure. It just gives me a bad feeling.

I have heard through the grapevine that there have been additional odd occurances, like coolers and bottles; but this has not been substantiated via any news reports.

But the story that I posted this morning regarding the tapes, was only being reported on KYW 1060 which is the news radio station. The main Philadelphia news stations did not report this story until this afternoon.

Was that the excuse that was given for the sensor device? The last offical explaination that I heard was that someone accidently dropped the device on the tracks, which I promptly noted as BS becauzse the device had been painted black to blend in with the ballast and was partially concealed.

In the summer, possibly (SW wind flow on the warmest days). Remember, there is about 100 miles between the cities, you would need a very precise and longstream wind pattern to even have a chance do be directly "down-wind". Most of NJ on the otherhand...

Also have to take into account that there is a general "battle-zone" between the two cities much of the summer as the Bermuda High pressure (centered near Bermuda, counterclockwise wind flow) keeps winds S/SE nearer Philly and invading cold fronts tend to give NYC and North more westerly oriented winds.

The raids on the mosques we in accordance with the FBI and grand jury investigations into the Philadelphia mayor, Street. He is the one who said that the "brothers and sisters" are running the city in one of his speeches to the NAACP.

Anyway it has been reported that he has very close ties to a Muslim iman and his wife who it appears have been receiving special favors....these favors include businesses and shops at the Philadelphia airport!!
