It was a wonderful Freep even though it end prematurely by a sudden downpour. We did manage to outlast the lefties. It started about a half an hour early with Trteamer, Bullet Bob, and Roy and Roberta from the Fife and Drum Corps and your truly. By the time Jim, Sheila and Chris arrived we took over three corners and the traffic responded with enthusiasm
We managed to Freep until 12:30 before the skies opened up and some more much needed rain fell to the earth soaking everything in its path, including us. I didn't get any pictures of the rain as I was busy with the bullhorn enjoying the rain. I guess I never learned to come in out of the rain.
We decided to cut the Freep short and head over to Johnson's Corner to dry off and enjoy some lunch and conversation. Sheila got her flowers and we all introduced ourselves and had a great time. I forgot to keep track of everyone that joined us for dinner. I am sure someone will post a list. The only regret I have is that the Robinson's could not stay longer.
Here are a few pictures and I am sure more will follow.
The SouthWest corner before the rain
After the rain when we all huddled under a welcoming tree.
No Freep would be complete without a shot of 'them'.
Here are a few shots of the after Freep lunch.
Yours truly with Jim. We are much wetter than we look, or maybe not. 8-)
This is how they left us. Columbia, Missouri give them a big warm welcome!
Wait until you see my pictures of the downpour and the drowned RATS.
I have another request ol meeky, master of computer graphics. We need a FReeper boat, one that the RATS can't climb aboard. LOL!
FReegards...MUD
What part of Tennessee are you in?
Thanks for giving the Robinson's a great time. We're looking forward to our turn in Houston.
LOL....That be them.
I sure hope so. This looks like a nasty system.

Let's get together and FReep John Kerry in a couple of weeks! Got flip-flops?
You know we will be honored to have the Robinsons in Columbia and will do everything we can to make their visit enjoyable (except we expect rain Monday).
Great report. Thanks for being there for our Troops, our Country and our President.
Kerry's coming HERE?!
(GAD! I'm still embarassed that he was born in Denver)
When's he supposed to arrive?
Sheila likes any kind of flower that you can pick off the streets actually! We always make sure she has a small bunch to wear in her hair, and a small bunch by her table in a restaurant. Thanks for remembering. She is a kick , you will love her!
Kerry is due in sometime around June 17th. Hope your on the night shift!
He is also going to Aspen (leave no billionaire behind), any west slope FReepers out there?
This one needs a caption.
More pictures ping!
DAMN! You folks weren't kidding about that rain. I worked all day and it just spit a couple of times (In Golden).
TRT, I'm off that week until Saturday at 6AM. If you find anything else out, could ya please let me know? Thanks!
This is a RealPlayer video. 2 minutes of horn honking. It is 1.7 MB and the quality is poor, but the original is 67MB. This is my very first attempt at making a video with my new digicam.
OOHH! 5Toes gots himself a new TOY!!!
I can't play it yet. I'm recording Rush's Thursday show. Almost done.
I just watched it. Ya got Jim in there, too!
I sure miss you good folks!
