Has anyone come up with an explanation for the orange jumpsuit? The first time that I saw the video, before I ever questioned anything about this story, I thought that that did not ring true. I still think that it's a sign that something is not genuine about the event, but for the life of me I can't understand why the terrorists would have put Berg in an orange jumpsuit.

Could it be that they told Berg that they were going to make a fake video of how he was abused while being held by the US/Iraqi forces?

That's the first explanation for the orange jumpsuit I've read that makes sense. It would also explain the calm demeanor.

Could be!! And they're saying that one of the big Muslim cheeses is in that video...so they weren't going to let him go.

Lots of web sites out there talking about that jumpsuit and that white chair he was sitting in -- straight from Kmart.

I swear (again) in the last day I have read that somebody has done testing and that they are saying that the prison film and the beheading film were done with the same camera.

I'm going to do some HEAVY re-Googling this afternoon.

As to the beheading, what about this scenario:

Moore had Berg get with AlQueda (or vice versa)...they did the "film in the orange jumpsuit" thing with Nick IN ON IT....and then the AlQueda Actually DID behead Nick so he would never turn on them and give out any info he had on them. I believe Berg knew a LOT of AlQueda...beginning with Moussoui in OKC.

Why else would Berg's father say "they killed their best friend" and he was talking about AlQueda!!
