Good Lord, no, I am NOT "in the Dick Morris camp." Whenever I have the inclination to take Morris seriously because he says something that seems right, I recall that he 1. got Bill Clinton reelected, and 2. once paid a woman to look interested while he crawled on the floor and barked like a dog.

My hot button is the need for history. The more Bush talked about that, the more he'd force the press to cover that aspect. And the more the press had to cover Japan and Germany, the less effective the press bias against this war would become.

There are times when the President doesn't say or do what I think he should, or what I think might most satisfy me and my expectations.

Still, the man is a cool drink of pure water compared to the brackish sludge poured out during the xlinton years, and the poison which Kerry and the Dems offer us today.

I'll give him all the room he needs to make the moves on the chessboard of history, regardless of what I myself would wish to see and hear at any given moment.

I love President Bush, fear greatly for his life, and pray that he will be kept safe from the enemy.

About his speech at the War College, I wasn't surprised at the lack of rousing cheers from those in the audience ... they are a sober lot, and the times are as grim as they are filled with hope.

There will be other occasions where it'll be more appropriate to raise the roof, and sway the fence-sitters.

I was just kidding about that Dick Morris comment.

I don't understand how a man so consistently wrong gets so much air time.

I see you are taking a bit of heat for your article. And I still stand by my previous comments since there was some "meat" to the speech.

However, Bush was in a tough situation. People supposedly wanted answers that were already available. The hand over date has been known for months now, so has the general make up of the Iraqi Governing Council.

And how do you answer the question "What are you going to do about the security situation?" since the answer is obvious "You respond to each situation and try to prevent the ones you can.". Good luck on the article.
