You want to criticize these versions of Islam? Fine. And criticize the KKK, the Spanish Inquisition (which was a secular court that used church law to destroy political enemies) and the pogroms of Orthodox Russia

The difference is that those were past aberrations in the practice of Christianity, and Christians soundly reject those practices now. Islam is STILL supporting, or at the least, not condemning the actions of the people doing violence in the name of their religion.
