And did you hear Christians denouncing those actions far and wide? Yes you did. A far cry from the response of Muslims since 1983 which was the beginning of the large scale radical Islamic movement. Some might say it truly started with the 1972 Munich games and the murder of the Israeli athletes, but it became more widespread with the bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon. I don't remember hearing much outcry for finding 'those who would do such a heinous thing' from their fellow Muslims.
I won't dispute that, really. The Islam most Muslims are taught today is far, far different from the Islam Muslims were taught in the Middle-Ages. Today their scholars teach hatred, murder and "holy war". I find this as abhorrent as all of you who've taken time to debate with me on this thread.
Once again, I'm not justifying anything there - just saying that I don't want Christianity, the religion I was raised into, turn into an equivalent of present-day Islam. I do not want to see His message distorted to become a message of hatred. I want terrorists to be punished in a fitting manner, as well as those who helped or harbored them, but I don't want to see some quiet, law-abiding people been insulted or likened to criminals because they happen to believe in a different God than me.
