Got one in my office. She adopted a child from China. She lied on the application in doing it. Answered a question about her marital status by saying she was single, but was not opposed to marriage in the future. What she forgot to state was that said marriage would be when she could marry her female partner. But, of course, the Chinese did not care, they wanted the money and rid of a female child.

Any doubt in your mind that that child is better off now?

I say, God bless anyone who adopts an unwanted child.

While there's certinly something in what you say, most lesbian couples are highly disfunctional compared to hetero couples. Domestic violence is greater, as is the incidence of other mental problems. Like lying to get the kid.

The only lesbian couple with a kid that I had extended contact with could in no way be decribed as normal. The biological mother was relatively normal, if a little smug. The butch was more macho than any three guys I know, always punching you on the arm, talking about how tough she was and how much she could press, etc. The poor little girl was sullen, silent and almost invisible.

I think giving a child to a lesbian couple is a very poor choice, in general. Especially a male child.

In the greater scheme of things the child would be better off dying as a young child than being thrust into a homosexual lifestyle.

This child is highly likely to be molested (if not by the 'parents' then by one or more of their friends/sexual partners) and mentally screwed up for life. The child is very unlikely to ever know Jesus as Savior and will thus end up in hell.

So the choice is do we let the child get adopted by sodomites and sent to hell after a totally dysfunctional life or do we leave the child in China where he/she may be adopted by normal mentally healthy parents?

I'd leave the kid in China where he/she at least has a chance at a normal life
