Give me an honest answer. Are there more or fewer terrorists who hate America in the world today than there were 16 months ago?Just more that have been exposed.

For the Washington insiders: This speech was not for you. It was for normal people around the country.Too bad the normal" people didn't get to see it because of the liberal media doing their best to keep plans for Iraq and any good news off of their networks.

WASHINGTON - The Army general who was in charge of the U.S. prison guards accused of abusing Iraqis has been suspended from command of the 800th Military Police Brigade, officials said Monday.
Brig. Gen. Janis Karpinski and other officers in her brigade were faulted by Army investigators for paying too little attention to the prison's day-to-day operations and not acting strongly enough to discipline soldiers under her command for violating standard procedures.
Karpinski's suspension, which has not been announced by the Army, was the latest in a series of actions against officers and enlisted soldiers implicated in the abuse scandal at Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad.

In an interview today, however, Brig. Gen. Janis L. Karpinski insisted that she was "set up'' by Army officials who had her sign the letter when she had no idea of the depth of problems uncovered at the infamous prison outside Baghdad.
In addition, Karpinski said she was notified in an e-mail today that she was being suspended from duty, but has not been given a formal explanation.
"You'd think somebody would pick up the phone and call me,'' she said, lashing out at the Army hierarchy. "That should have been the protocol courtesy. I am a general officer. Nobody could spend the 25 cents to call me?''

Woodward and Bernstein together again and on the same page.
At least Woodward is defending going to the UN as Bush did it before we went..Larry had asked if it was a flip flop.

Morris says he needed to be more female. Monica Crowley says it wasn't warrior enough (griping about Falujah and Sadr still being around). Caddell says he needed to use stories about people like the seven guys who had prosthetic hands attached in Houston.
I am so sick of the analysis. None of these people DOES things.

I saw it reported via a link to a TV station site; can't remember where I git the link tho', maybe Drudge. Yes, it's seems Clancy will associate himself with many books, then the publishers put his name in the big fonts on the cover.

I agree. I don't believe this was meant to be a both-barreled, roll-em-out-and-kick-their-a$$ speech, nor was it designed to be.
Also i felt that it souned as though hey everything is undercontrol and were not in dire straights

Monica Crowley on FNC saying Morris is wrong on "Talking to the women". Also saying Bush has disappointed his base on illegal immigration and killing or capturing al-Sadr and he's still around.
That ego maniac O'Reilly believes Pres. Bush is listening to his comments right now. Give me a beak.

The day President Bush "speaks female", I'll join the "he'll never get my vote" crowd. That's MY opinion. Me too. Men need to speak like men, not speak female.
