Speech begins at 8:00 P.M. EDT; carried on MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, and CSPAN.
Thank GOD they gave Levin her hour! :-)
Next time check out cspan.com - they carried it live - and you can still access it there now.
I find it hard to believe that a Catholic school educated kid like Sean never picke up that Latin term.
I'm with you on the books...haven't read one of his in years
Monica must have had lunch with Peggy Noonan.
Oh, ick, Susan Estrich on now. Time to turn to HGTV!!
I'd rather see video of Reggie Miller's 3-pointer shot that won the game for the Pacers on Saturday night. :o)
Bush is up 49-43 among men.
Down 47-41 among women.
Morris is a political whore (albeit amusing) and is just looking at what the polls say, substance be damned.
No. I just got the answer from some General on FOX.
The War College is a strategy post. Bush was talking strategy to Generals. That makes sense.
LOL!
Why...is Peggy on one of her "off" days again?
Law and Order re run just got my attention..Susan is like chalk screeching on a blackboard.
Monica seemed to be coming from the overreactionary wing of conservatism, never happy, 'bomb 'em all sort it out later' kind of act. I was not impressed in the least.
But Clancy strikes me as different, that one stings a bit. Sure, he can be a jerk in interviews, but it sounds like he, like some others, have an honest disagreement in what we should have done regarding Iraq. Mistakes have been made, though we don't like to talk about it given how the Dems/media totally twist it out of proportion and turn them into myths and propaganda. Clancy did say he liked Bush, believed he is a good man, but they disagree regarding Iraq. I took the 'probably' response to the 'Will you vote for Bush' question differently, though clearly he knows that his speaking out right now looks like piling on and hurts the President's reelection.
Perhaps it is meant as a warning sign/wake up call. I like Rumsfeld, do not want him to resign(don't want to capitulate to the thoughtless media bloodlustbut), but I do think he has made several critical mistakes. So I can understand military and intelligence types being critical in their analysis and thinking there needs to be some accountability and housecleaning. The timing stinks, but OTOH its better now than in the fall.
OBTW, if Hannity asked, I most assuredly am voting for President Bush.
Gotta run here, too. Did a search earlier this p.m. using Drudge's first title and then the USAToday title. No luck with either one, but another search wouldn't hurt. The article is one of the nastier hit pieces by a named Washington journalist and therefore the sting is worse than if it was by a lessor known writer.
Will be working as usual tommorrow, but think it needs posting and comment, so suggest you do it.
Miller took the scenic route, and it cost them.
Here's my ongoing thought of President Dubya, with an addition:
My primary thought is that the President would simultaneously feel comfortable at his home, barbequeing and relaxing, sipping a few non-alcs with his friends and family...while loading up the shotgun to blow away any wolf that dared try to harm him or his guests.
I may very well try the roadie of a lifetime...January 20, 2005, in Washington D.C. for Dubya's 2nd term inauguration. I can't imagine who else's inaugural I would want to attend!
Not really. I just don't trust her as much since she belittled President Bush about his appearance on MTP. She's still an excellent columnist and I enjoy reading some of her pieces, but she's a little too tea-partyish sometimes.
Thanks! New this evening, but have been P/O'd at the MSM for sometime now. Don't know whether they're getting worse or I'm more sensitive to their outright bias. Suspect it's some of both.
Peggy's "Catholic schoolgirl" columns leave me cold and her intermperate Bushbashings turn me off completely. She's turned into a hack.
I thought it was having the art of saying "niiice doggie" until you can find a leash?
