New York Sen. Hillary Clinton said Sunday that House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi was right to say that President Bush "has on his shoulders the death of many more [U.S.] troops" because of his military misjudgments, explaining, "I know a little bit about" being Commander-in-Chief.""Any Commander-in-Chief bears that responsibility," she told "Fox News Sunday." "It's an awesome, unbelievably overwhelming responsibility. I know a little bit about that."
Clinton also seconded Pelosi's charge that Bush was incompetent, defending her own comments to NBC last week that the president had demonstrated "a pattern and practice of misjudgments that add up to incompetence and lack of credibility."
"I have to say, I've been very disappointed at many of the decisions along the way implementing the judgment of the administration," she told Fox.
Sen. Clinton said that U.S. troop cutbacks had left the U.S. unable to deal simultaneously with the Iraq war and its global defense commitments.
"We have to face the fact that we need a larger active duty military," she told Fox. "We cannot continue to stretch our troops, both active duty, Guard and Reserve, to the breaking point, which is what we're doing now."
During her husband's administration, U.S. troop strength was cut back from 18 active duty divisions to ten.
Sen. Clinton painted a grim picture of U.S. prospects in Iraq, saying, "We have lot of trouble - everybody knows that. My hope is that we can work our way out of the trouble we're in."
...She's not a piece, a big chunk of scarrrey...
Aha! So she admits she told Willy what to do. We knew that. Unless she is referring to her role as chief of damage control and how she was required to shorten her Christmas card list from time to time.
Waco Texas, Shrillary. The blood of those people are on your husband's hands, and vicariously on yours too.
Too easy ;^)
LOL.
She is a freakshow. Why Fox news gave her a forum to spew her bilge is beyond me.
When I read Hillary Clinton's statement, I thought it preposterous.
However, upon reflection I realize her statement contains a kernel of truth.
She does have experience acting as, though not being, Commander-in-Chief: the eight years that Bill spent as President.
Besides wearing a rip-off of the Church Lady's dress, she attempted to appear moderate and pro-military which is a tough thing for a radical leftist elitist to pull off. But her umpteen "you knows" and "ums" wreak havoc with believability - too many hesitations as she prevaricates - gives her away every time.
She's right! She knows about as little as possible.....
Maybe even less......

Same thing she said about Whitewater too.
That's all they ever did,"...work our way out of the
trouble we're in."
Of course. We all remember Waco.
the beast is just setting the stage for the DNC were Kerry will not accept and she will
I thought they balanced the budget through sound economic principles, not putting the country at risk.
She wants Kerry to accept and have her for Vice-Pres slot, so that when he is elected...she will have him assassinated...just like the rest! She has a plan.
She's really painting herself as a buffoon and a weirdo to everyone remotely interested in her outside of the cultists.
She spent a decade building herself up as "notbill" to mainstream left-wing Democrats. Since the Rumsfeld testimony she's turning into "dumberthanbill", which does not bode well for any ambitions she delusionally still holds.
Hillary! is not going anywhere.
Hillary = Evil to the highest degree
Did you mean to say preparatory instead of predatory?
