Hillary: I Know About Being Commander-in-Chief

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton said Sunday that House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi was right to say that President Bush "has on his shoulders the death of many more [U.S.] troops" because of his military misjudgments, explaining, "I know a little bit about" being Commander-in-Chief."

"Any Commander-in-Chief bears that responsibility," she told "Fox News Sunday." "It's an awesome, unbelievably overwhelming responsibility. I know a little bit about that."

Clinton also seconded Pelosi's charge that Bush was incompetent, defending her own comments to NBC last week that the president had demonstrated "a pattern and practice of misjudgments that add up to incompetence and lack of credibility."

"I have to say, I've been very disappointed at many of the decisions along the way implementing the judgment of the administration," she told Fox.

Sen. Clinton said that U.S. troop cutbacks had left the U.S. unable to deal simultaneously with the Iraq war and its global defense commitments.

"We have to face the fact that we need a larger active duty military," she told Fox. "We cannot continue to stretch our troops, both active duty, Guard and Reserve, to the breaking point, which is what we're doing now."

During her husband's administration, U.S. troop strength was cut back from 18 active duty divisions to ten.

Sen. Clinton painted a grim picture of U.S. prospects in Iraq, saying, "We have lot of trouble - everybody knows that. My hope is that we can work our way out of the trouble we're in."

"No Hillary, you don't. You know about being the Commander-in-Chief's wife --- at least what part of being First Lady you got to play --- Monica probably spent more time with your husband than you did."

Hillary was probably more active as the CIC than Bill was. The smartest woman in America said, concerning a particular piece of legislation that if came before the president thet "I would have to veto it"

She knows of how to wield presidential power. She spent more time ruining the country than Bill did.

On the show 24 hours, it seems they modeled Sherry after Hillary --- only she's better looking.

The crux of it for me:

"During her husband's administration, U.S. troop strength was cut back from 18 active duty divisions to ten."

And that bas**** still claimed we were in the "two regional conflict" mode when anybody who was watching knew it was a lie.

The military is a big, hard, expensive proposition, but it is the *one*single*thing* I want the US Gov to do. Not insure college loans, or house loans, or indoctrinate children, ad nauseum. Hitlery couldn't run a Cub Scout pack, much less the DoD.

Maybe if the "Commander in Chief" hadn't been so busy in 1993 squashing the little guys in the Travel Office or murdering Vince Foster, she would have had some time to do something about WTC I.

Well put. Too bad Wallace didn't ask about Oil For Food, either. I'd've loved to get her on the record with regard to that.

If this witch already know's what it is like to be Commander in Chief....then she has already served two terms, and thus not allowed to run as president of the United States.

If reports are true, she has had some experience as Commander in Chief. For instance, after the Monica scandal it has been said, with some probability, that her condition for publicly forgiving the President was that he should forthwith bomb Yugoslavia.
