Hillary: I Know About Being Commander-in-Chief

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton said Sunday that House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi was right to say that President Bush "has on his shoulders the death of many more [U.S.] troops" because of his military misjudgments, explaining, "I know a little bit about" being Commander-in-Chief."

"Any Commander-in-Chief bears that responsibility," she told "Fox News Sunday." "It's an awesome, unbelievably overwhelming responsibility. I know a little bit about that."

Clinton also seconded Pelosi's charge that Bush was incompetent, defending her own comments to NBC last week that the president had demonstrated "a pattern and practice of misjudgments that add up to incompetence and lack of credibility."

"I have to say, I've been very disappointed at many of the decisions along the way implementing the judgment of the administration," she told Fox.

Sen. Clinton said that U.S. troop cutbacks had left the U.S. unable to deal simultaneously with the Iraq war and its global defense commitments.

"We have to face the fact that we need a larger active duty military," she told Fox. "We cannot continue to stretch our troops, both active duty, Guard and Reserve, to the breaking point, which is what we're doing now."

During her husband's administration, U.S. troop strength was cut back from 18 active duty divisions to ten.

Sen. Clinton painted a grim picture of U.S. prospects in Iraq, saying, "We have lot of trouble - everybody knows that. My hope is that we can work our way out of the trouble we're in."

Just for a minute consider Hillary as president and Bill as Sec. General(or whatever CoffeeAnus is) at the UN. Then add gorlick and the rest of their socialist friends at various posts in her adm.

This is a battle between good and evil. Keep watching the beast.

"I know a little bit about" being Commander-in-Chief."

Indeed she does.

Didn't she give Janet Reno the order to knock down the walls at Waco?

Lordy, I hope you are right! However, she seems to get whatever it is she wants and the media plays the Clinton myths, spins their fairy tales ad-nauseum till you can't recognize any of it. Bill is fairly obvious with his natural ability to con a room but his wife (?) is about as winsome as an iron foundry unless she is talking to Barbara Walters etc. then the Snake Oil begins to gush. Harold Ickes and George Soros are her main men...........Just a little aside about Harold, one of the Clinton shady characters......... “Ickes is said to have "represented many labor unions over the years. Some of those unions -- the Laborers, Local 100 of the Hotel and Restaurant Employees Union in New York, Teamsters Local 239 in New York, and the District Council of Carpenters in New York -- have extensive ties to organized crime, according to federal prosecutors. In fact, Ickes's ties to corrupt unions were so extensive that the White House deemed it impossible to nominate him for a job that required Senate confirmation and placed him instead in the position of deputy chief of staff."..... The Clintons are organized crime people.

She does have a set of brass balls. The sad part is that no one will ever challenge her lies. FOX should be ashamed that they let here direct the questions, what a joke.

Let me add an observation about the character of Hillary.

Hillary is an incompetent, ineffective, manipulative bitch who covers up her incompetencies by accusing the innocent.

That's pretty damn sick. I wish the incompetent bureaucratic bitch would go home to North Korea.

My, my. You say it so well! :)

She needs to tack on "fer real" at the end of her statement, then she can appear as delusional as John F'ing Kerry.

"Any Commander-in-Chief bears that responsibility," she told "Fox News Sunday." "It's an awesome, unbelievably overwhelming responsibility. I know a little bit about that."

This is an absolutely false statement. Unless you know you are accountable for command failures and the lives of those you send in harm's way you can't know anything about the responsibility of being Commander-in-Chief. Hillary has never been accountable for any military actions, and to claim otherwise is an insult to anyone who has ever born such responsibility.

On the other hand, she is claiming personal involvement in the decision making processes that led her husband's administration to ignore that attack on the USS Cole but to retaliate against an aspirin factory and empty camps to pre-empt news regarding his testimony before a grand jury regarding sex with an intern. She should be careful touting such an august record.

Oh yes I do remember! I also remember her saying that she just didn't sit around baking cookies, during their first presidental campaign. Bill was touting himself as a "new Democrat" at the time. I was curious as to what that meant. Hillary's comments defined the meaning.

Since Hillary is the smartest woman on earth, she should be able to bring home the bacon, and then fry it while plotting to destroy this country at the same time. Heehee, I can just see her trying to cope with the domestic disasters most of us face every day...without a staff. I wonder if she is even capable of unclogging a toilet. Commander in Chief my secret cole slaw recipe!
