What to do about left wing media bias in an election year? 1. We could try a class action law suite alleging willful exclusion of conservatives in both editorial and reporter ranks.
2. How about a lawsuit claiming that the major news outlets are willfully selling a defective product, substituting "opinion" and selling it as "news"?
3. Finally, it might be fun to hold demonstrations outside the front doors of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Newsweek, and of course Time.
If anyone likes these ideas, let me know and I'll post them as a separate thread.

Whatever it is?
What makes you think the media would report it?

What makes you think the media would report it? Ya know.... I'm sick and tired of Conservatives bitching about the media.
The way I figure it... whatever time of day it is, I can choose to listen to FOX, Rush, Howie (in my Massholian hell), or surf the net for news - and the point of this rant is: Why do we even give "the liberal media" any inkling of influence?
Think about it!
Half the country outright loathes the lefty foghorns, and the OTHER half is rife with drug addled, MTV suckling, idiots.
If we all just paid them no mind, they'd wither slowly away (think Err America)

every element of this mosaic reeks with bias...
Not to sweat it...those that read Newsweak are already in the "solid 40 percent" - on the other side.
No minds will be changed by a Newsweak magazine cover, let alone whatever crap is on the inside pages.

Yes, they knew exactly what they were doing when they "crafted" this cover: it's got agitprop written all over it.Yep, just another example of the leftist media, who will do everything in their power to bring our president down. God help us all.

Exactly.
The Kool-aid connoisseurs are already hooked - so why not just ignore their "pushers"?

Our American press has become like wild dogs running loose in the chicken coop. We in our love of freedom have opened the door and given them free reign. We trusted the press with an awesome responsibility as guardians of the truth. Little did we think they would turn into mad socialist dogs, pandering to the public for their own self interest, and running away from their duty as watchdogs for freedom. They are so out of control!
I wonder, when the chicken feathers stop flying, that all we will find left is a huge pile of cream of yellow journalism on the chicken coop floor.
In their effort, to stir up the chickens for their own selfish benefit, they paint themselves in a corner. They will lose their audience when more of the public discovers their news is full of chicken sh!t. Their stupid attempt at subliminal suggestion is so amateurish it is utterly pathetic. The press will soon learn that they will have to pay dearly to regain that trust once the public gets a whiff of the smell. A free people will seek those with whom they trust with the truth. It is with truth; not cream of yellow journalism, that they can answer the real world problems in the real world.

TIME has reached tabloid status and I wouldn't read it even if I was waiting in the dentist's office.Me too. I would rather stare out into space than read Time, Newsweek, or any other of those things posing as magazines.

McCarthy was right. These socialist partisans of the press see to use the first amendment to take away the first amendment. They have done so in the universities where free speech does not exist, there is no marketplace of ideas at the university. The ugly truth is that universities are now just glorified vocational schools and their "liberal arts" degrees mean nothing.
The partisan press must pay a price this election season. I say make it their pocket books. Advertisers take note, we with money to spend are not watching NBC, CBS, ABC, or CNN. Advertisers take note we males do not spend money on your products after you spend time bashing us. We spend our money and our time where we find value and our values.

There is a picture with Clinton covering up part of the M so it looks like horns, too (though most of the clinton covers have him with the text printed over him instead of the text under like with Bush).
I don't think there is some conspiracy here.

I cannot say this often enough: The press is piling up for itself a huge pile of public scorn. When it is time to clean up their mess, there will be few with the stomach for it. Already, the flee to alternative news sources is taking its toll. While the Brokaws of the world are beating the drums of socialism, people like me are talking to people like you. The problems of this world need the truth and not something frosted over with a political agenda.
The press will attempt to draw us in with sensationalism and more yellow journalism. We have already been turned off by the stench of liberal lies, why should we trust them with yellow journalism (which has more stench)? We who hold our free republic so dear only want the truth. Our God is truth. Those who we entrusted with the truth, our watchdogs the press, are out chasing chickens.

I think it's a good picture, and acts as a force of impostion on the pictures that flank it. If they were trying to make him look unsure or incapable, they failed. And as far as the 'M' thing, even if they meant to imply it, it won't fly because only the people who love or hate him will even tune in. If their aim is to undo him they have to leave the choir loft first.
