not my rendition...it hit our base paper today and I searched for it online so I could post it.
I love hearing the good things the public does to honor our troops. They don't get paid much in money but being able to stand tall in their uniform and command that kind of respect is priceless.
What a Marine!
God Bless him and his family!!
and very cool those other 200 Marines were honored.

That was great, MudPuppy. Thanks for posting that. This story needs to get out. I just googled "Don King" + "Nick Popaditch" and didn't get much.

Thanks! That was a great story!
Don King may have a couple of skeletons in his closet, but he's always aknowledged the freedom he enjoys and where it came from. It takes some guts for a guy in his position to endorse a republican, too.
You should make that it's own thread.

Great pic, great story, GREAT HEROS ... this is an old thread linked fomr a recent one because 'cee-gar man' Nick Popovich Marine who was in the tank with Chambers, was abused in Moore's F911 movie, and Nick and April dont appreciate it.

I see your ping and raise you a bump.

Bada$$ is right!! That patch just makes him look all the badder!! God Bless this Gunny, and Corporal Chambers who saved both their lives. The Marines train them well, when even the Corporals can determine and ACT on what needs to be done in any given situation!
I pray for this man's continued healing and for Blessings on his wife and children. And I'm praying some special prayers for his brother Marines on the ground in Fallujah, along with their Iraqi brothers in arms.
