Reading the article I had the mental impression that this Cpl. Chambers was a young skinny little buck with a lot of guts. Now, thanks to your pic, I see Chambers is quite the opposite. The man's a stud, it's no wonder how he was able to take control of the situation.
Here's to you, Cpl. Chambers, give that man a star!

Thank you for the ping - - I've been praying for this fella since I heard he was attacked and lost an eye. What spirit! What fortitude! What an American!
I'm crying.....so proud......I wish he were my son (I have daughters) so I could love on him and dote on him.....
Ya know? I hope Kerry makes the mistake of going and seeing our guys in the military.....I hope they tell him exactly how they feel about him...and I hope all the press is there to record it!

Thank you so much for the ping! It is great to hear that Cee-gar Man is doing so great!
I agree with whoever said it- he really made that patch work. LOL! Total badass.
And- I agree with whoever said Kerry is not fit to breathe the same air as men such as these. Kerry should feel embarrassed for even thinking he is in their league, but I guess to feel embarrassed one would have to have a conscience.

"My friends and my Marines are still there, still fighting," he said softly. "Any Marine in their right mind would want to be right there with them. All I've really lost is about 10 degrees of peripheral vision, and I'll be OK without that. I'm ready to be with my Marines again."Wow...............WOW!
Our military guys are absolutely awesome!

Where do we get such men as these? They come from all acroos this great land. They love their contry REGARDLESS of what the see and hear on TV! They know the PRICE of FREEDOM is paid in blood. sweat, and tears, and they are willing to pay it.
The LEFT, on the other hand, thinks that FREEDOM and liberty is their right to DEMAND. Earning it is NOT expected.

ain't nothing like the smell of a soldier (well, ok, marine) whose been in the field for a month, no showers, only brushed his teeth last week and smokes cigars. Hooooweee, any misquito near these guys just keels over. Reminds me of the good old days.
Great Job Marine, We're proud of ya!!
