According to today's Boston Herald, here is what the very first recipient of a Provincetown MA same-sex marriage license has to say about marriage:
"[Jonathan Yarbrough] says the concept of forever is 'overrated' and that he, as a bisexual, and [his partner Cody] Rogahn, who is gay, have chosen to enjoy an open marriage. `I think it's possible to love more than one person and have more than one partner, not in the polygamist sense,' he said. `In our case, it is, we have, an open marriage...'"

As usual, the real winners in this situation will be the attorneys. (Why did I waste my time studying accounting, gay divorce law is where the dough's going to be)

they already do that on the debate boards. the first thing they want you to throw out is the religious side of the issue. than goes morality, than free will. if you go to the john kerry message boards on homosexual marriage, they talk that way about religion. anyone who makes a post against them are deleted and the member banned. The few and distasteful times I've looked at the DU I noticed that they also seem to be violently opposed to Christianity. When I first got saved 20 years ago I ended up in a baptist church. I remember there was an election coming up and the pastor reminded us to go out and vote but he didn't say who to vote for. I asked if Christians have a political party they tend to vote in and he said Republican. I switched parties right then but at the time I thought the spiritual differences were subtle. They certainly don't seem that way now but I don't know if there has been a change or if I am just more discerning.

They have "open" marriages --- it's probably not adulterous if both agree to pursue sex everywhere they can get it --- but what did we think they wanted from "marriage"?

`I think it's possible to love more than one person and have more than one partner, not in the polygamist sense,' he said. Homosexuals aren't the only ones who confuse love and sex, but they always do.
Shalom.

These folks should take out an orgy license not a marriage license. You have to get a license to have an orgy?
Shalom.
