The bottom line is that the media has already determined that there are no WMDs in Iraq and there never will be.

Yup. The leftists will always raise the bar as to what constitutes a WMD, even if a nuke is found with the words "Die Zionist Pigs!" inscribed on the side.

Not a WMD?

How mush does it take to kill?

What is sarin?
One of the world’s most dangerous chemical warfare agents. Sarin is an extremely toxic substance that disrupts the nervous system, overstimulating muscles and vital organs. It can be inhaled as a gas or absorbed through the skin. In high doses, sarin suffocates its victims by paralyzing the muscles around their lungs. One hundred milligrams of sarin—about one drop—can kill the average person in a few minutes if he or she’s not given an antidote. Experts say sarin is more than 500 times as toxic as cyanide.

I really don't think one shell constitutes WMD.

It contained ingredients necessary and sufficient for a WMD. It is the existence of these ingredients which is what has been denied by some.

Actually, I do not have a link to it. My hubby gave me a rather lengthy definition, describing what constitutes a WMD, and he gave me a horrifying example that I will not post. His definition made me recall the pre-war talk of Iraq developing a rather crude unmanned plane that could/would fly rather low to the ground and yet disperse chemical/biological agents undetected and unstoppable. Thousands upon thousands of deaths would result.

Actually, a few hours ago, Steve Harrigan was reporting from Iraq on Fox news and he began to form a 'W' (as in WMD) to describe the type of weapon this was, but then caught himself and used the term 'chemical' instead. It seemed like it had been decided in advance that he was not to use the other term. I have not decided what the symantics game was about, but I just heard Shep say this was believed to be the first case of discovery of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, so maybe they've decided to get on this story after all.

Bill Clinton taught them well with "It all depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is.

The Klintoon legacy lives on!

And yet the BIG news is same sex marriage in Massachusetts.

Anotherdubya, I used your definition of sarin in my email to them. Hope it was okay.

Here's my email to the Communist News Network...

I want to know how this news organization defines "weapons of mass destruction"?

"What is sarin?
One of the world’s most dangerous chemical warfare agents. Sarin is an extremely toxic substance that disrupts the nervous system, overstimulating muscles and vital organs. It can be inhaled as a gas or absorbed through the skin. In high doses, sarin suffocates its victims by paralyzing the muscles around their lungs. Now you tell me what was found in Iraq? Some old munition round, or a WMD? Before you start tapdancing around, this was an unlabeled munition. Maybe that's why Hans Blix and Scott Ritter couldn't find them. That crafty bastard Saddam, kept them unlabeled, and mixed with routine ordnance!

The WMD are there, so start reporting the truth for once!

Was I too cranky?

I just checked a few of the big newspaper and network websites. Sarin which a year ago was a WMD is now referred to as "a nerve agent." I don't know who tried harder to hide the WMDs, Sadaam or the alphabet networks.

I hope Americans will be able to figure this out by themselves without interpreting from CNN but then again some Americans are pretty darn stupid!

If any of you have had heated arguments with leftists that thought that they had you trumped by saying, "They never found any WMD's, so there!", I hope you get a chance to tell them that the kitchen has finally served up their long overdue order of a fresh hot, steaming waste sandwich - and Bon Appetit.
