I'm impressed - not.

He was speaking to the choir, and in France to boot...

"MICHAEL MOORE BRINGS DOWN HOUSE"

Drudge is missing the first part:

MICHAEL MOORE SITS ON ROOF

Actually I think they were just impressed that he managed to get up on his own 2 feet, support his weight, and not lose his balance.

Later that night he watched TV and ate an entire can of frosting.

Big deal. Mike Moore could bring down the house just by jumping up and down on the roof.

Cannes is in France. Is this a big surprise? Besides, who besides critics, who know nothing about films that real people want to watch, goes to it?

I'm pretty sure that I have never seen a film that was aired at the Cannes film festival.

Quoting John McClane (not to be confused with John McLame aka John McCain):
Yippee-kay-yay, M----- F-----!

Does anyone really care? This only further illustrates the disdain Euroweenies have for freedom.

I re-watched "The Longest Day" last night, and it was painful - even in re-enactment - to see our guys mowed down by the thousand to liberate France. The a**holes at Cannes should watch that movie again instead of listening to a bloated pig like Michael Moore. .

More on Drudge:

20 mins standing ovation for 'FAHRENHEIT 9-11', yelling, screaming, cheering...

No surprise here!

This is to be expected from the Hollyweird crowd, most of whom didn't graduate high school and can't spell Iraq.

Actually it wasn't his film that prompted the standing ovation but a disgusting trick involving a glo stick which Moore performed for the eager audience.

Headline should read;

"Dupes show their support of their favorite con man."

Those people will cheer anything.

Was it the hatred of George Bush they were applauding, or the love of a movie that hates George Bush?
