What a stain on the American landscape he is.

'FAHRENHEIT 9-11' Is this the one on the Iraq war? The one he filmed, using implanted communists?

The French are known to be emotional when they have to be.

I have absolutely no idea why Drudge believes this is news, other than he is trying to pump up the antiwar left because he's always secretly been anti war himself.

Click through on Bowling, evidently those numbers are outdated. Still, it's only 21.5M, astoundingly low for the free advertising media lavishes on him.
IOW: the media/hollywood/jetset crowd has a poor grasp on reality.

I heard that directors like short actors because it allows a narrower field of view for some shots.

Is there anyone else beginning to believe that Drudge's page is beginning to look like the National Enquirer? Where's the good news that we all know is happening in Iraq and this country. Drudge seems to be all negative all the time -- absolutely no balance that I can see.
I am willing to believe that it could just be me and that I am just so sick and tired of all the MSM that my perception is totally skewed.

But as the applause faded, an overwhelming sense of sadness set in, as the audience members began to realize they were still French.

I agree, but drudge's site was and still is primarily a media-news site.

I believe his films and books sell far more internationally than in the US. I think he sold something like 3 times as many books in Germany alone than he did in the USA. make no mistake about it, he's rolling in dough...

My husband is in the industry (he's a Conservative to the bone, BTW). I've had the misfortune of seen some Cannes films...all of them sucked.

So let's see..... you've got an idiot, in France, with a bunch of other idiots, showing a film about hating Bush and loathing the military, in France, with liberal idiots, who hate Bush- a standing ovation, huh? Well duh!
I think it is telling that even many of our own liberal idiots (Hollywood) booed and hissed at Moore last year here in America when he ranted and raved and huffed and puffed his way through his little tirade.
