Zarqawi is busy running ops in Iraq. Probably moves in an out of Iran at times, but I don't know that. He was in Fallujah a few weeks ago and in Baghdad when he killed Berg.
Wonder if the seven are connected to him. He ran/runs Qaeda's biochemical activities. Some folks believe he was a big reason we all went to orange last spring.
The Berg video was as much an in-your-face warning as any UBL/Zawahiri tape. (Or any website countdown clock)
The fact he beheaded Berg himself was a "just so you know" who is going to be going this to you (figuratively).

I had thought of it that way. I'm sure you are right.
I've read up on Zarqawi and have also read that not only is he in Iran, he may not just be a part of Al-Q, in concert with Bin Laden, but he's also been in COMPETITION with him in recruiting. His more public beheading of Nick Berg may go along those lines. I know they hold him responsible for nearly everything going back to the assassination of our diplomat in Jordan.
