Your list of posts this afternoon - makes you want to just stay at home. The bus incident in Canada and the spraying incident in Glasgow call attention to the dangers of aerosol sprays wherever we may congregate. It's not one we'd normally think of as a terrorist action, but one that could quickly involve numerous people affected in enclosed spaces.
Industrial size available in some sporting goods stores or online for bear protection in giant canisters - you can clip it onto your belt or stuff it in your pocket.
If we withdrew troops from Iraq, would that lessen the edict calling for the deaths of all Americans? The answer my friends (according to the jihadis) may truly be "written in the wind."
Lets add Al Franken and Michael Moore to your list.
Yes, you are correct. She said they were doing random vehicle checking (not every vehicle) but lots and lots of police presence. Sounds like something is definitely up!
I just listened to her message again - she was calling from Gettysburg!
Yes, Indie, but follow the links back; he was baited either intentionally or unintentionally. We are all human and we have all probably said and written things out of character because our views were being attacked in an unpolite way. It is rarely what we say, moreover it is the way in which we say it that matters more. It is okay to have different views, but since we are all team members, it would be nice to discuss our views politely. _Jim deserves that, too.

TX LOCAL: BIG BEND FATALITY
http://www.nps.gov/bibe/pressreleases/visitorfatality_052404.htm
Good reason why WATER should be number one on the survival list. This guy went hiking and died within ONE DAY due to dehydration. Death is very very close without water.
She gets around! Last I knew she wrote here that she was with her folks in Connecticut.
Ok Donna will do. I'm way behind and reading backwards. Thanks.
I should point put that we love all TMers -- even the one who do the so-called baiting! We are a big family here and I guess there will be squabbles from time to time. Indie, I don't want you or anyone else to think I am pointing the finger at anyone. I only mean to explain _Jim's reaction to TMers who do not know _Jim.
here
I am with relatives in the hydro electric and nuclear industries. Having read you last several posts (I bit my tongue on you last post), all I have to say is...Oh brother!!!!! Instead of being so superior and saying nothing try and actually explain something nicely, that is unless you have the loosing argument then stay with nasty sarcasm.
Has anyone read "The Cobra Event?" It has to do with biological terror.
And who of us who hike frequently have not ventured off on an fork of the trail and gotten completely disoriented? We take daypacks that include matches, rain ponchos, drinks, canned food, a compass and one of those cute little mini-stoves. My husband often suggests 2-3 miles hikes that turn into 7-10 mile hikes (usually uphill). I feel sadness for that man's family back in NY.
I don't agree that he is polite...This is not the first time or place I have seen his posts. I remember when he first showed up. I was not very happy to see him being baited here either.
Okay, he is a strong defender of his views on the blackout. I guess what I should have said was that he does not come here on TM solely to attack (like we have seen with other Freepers).
