I'm wondering why a drop in Murietta which is a smallish place quite a ways from San Diego. Will have to check it out to see what if anything is of interest there other than the wider area picture.
OK, now that is odd.....reason "put it back in the wrong luggage" come on. A homemade "shank" knife.
This did make me think about the cargo.
Can you get from the cargo hold to the cabin? Like in Executive Decision.
Could someone take this knife out of the bag on the tarmac and give it to someone loading the catering supplies?
My guess is Zarqawi was back over the border in Iran before that tape hit the net.
Just my guess but based on his previous patterns.
per FNC coming up in a few moments, the WMD has been confirmed by tests to be Sarin
Thanks.
Much wisdom in your post, imho.
And two days of NY testifying before the 911 Commission
Thanks for that update. No matter how the media tries to spin this -- and regardless of how old the stuff is -- you can't tell me that the terrorists who put that explosive device together didn't know what was in it. It was a deliberate attempt to use chemical weapons against our troops.
RIP Felix Unger ;)

Please let me know if you find anything. I'm trying to drag myself away from FR long enough to tackle this huge pile of paperwork in front of me.
Thanks!

3 liters of Sarin
those in immediate vicinty in danger
Japan not weapon grade Sarin, formula not right, not sophisticated dispersal but placed in the air will kill thousands
Zarqawi can find or has stockpiles, worldwide network can transport it
thousands of facilities in US with different chemicals are more a threat then Sarin, hundreds of tons need to be protected, industrial chemicals more of a threat

At the nervous center of homeland security
excerpt: In Miami, a man tried to board an airplane with a bizarre, handmade contraption, a vacuum cleaner hose taped to tin cans and air filters. Federal agents confiscated the hose, worried that it could be used as a lethal device. The man was stopped from boarding and was being questioned. Meanwhile, a digital photo of the device was being studied by a DHS engineer.
Customs agents and Border Patrol officers were investigating a "tool" sold overseas -- Broderick would not be more specific -- that they feared could be used as a weapon.
In a northeastern city that Broderick would not name, police and federal agents were working a tip that several empty suitcases had been left in bus terminals and other areas.
