There are so many ways of sensing something like a train going by that it is impossible to eliminate the ability to do that. Many of these devices are available for Car and home security and any hobbiest could come up with ways of there own. The scary thing here is that someone was actually setting up a device to sense the train. Well maybe it is just someone who lives near by and rides the train every day and wants a heads up when the train is arriving...Never know. Kind of like not wanting to miss the bus. Probably not so innocent though- with everything going on like it is.

Yet another source, says 570.
When we are dealing with a death cult based on a child molester, they get caught in their own lies it seems.
Holy Cow!
Things are heating up alright. This is very unsettling.
It's time to revert back to tin cans and string for unhackable communications!
Hmmmm. Thanks.
I give up, then!
What happened 8 June 570?
Good point.
Has the phone tree grown at all?
I still feel a concern that we be responsible to connect up in very informal loose local groupings so we can keep each other more or less informed of critical things should all other means fail.
BUMP FOR THAT.
It's coming.
I just finished reading "Memorial Day" a novel by Vince Flynn. Recommended reading for all TM Freepers. It's an easy read. I finished it in two days, reading off and on. It's about a planned terrorist attack on D.C. It's very plausible! Rush L mentioned on his show that he was reading it and also recommended it. I hope that we have heros in real life that know what the heck they are doing like they do in the book.
May 20 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. is investigating suspicious activity along the New York-Philadelphia-Washington rail link after people were seen carrying out suspected surveillance of commuter lines, ABCNEWS reported.
The New Jersey Attorney General's office is investigating at least seven instances of suspected surveillance, including filming of trains and rail lines, ABC reported without saying where it obtained the information.
A concealed infrared electronic device was found recently near a rail yard in Philadelphia, the report said. There isn't any sign of terrorist connection with the device, ABC cited an unidentified spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as saying in Philadelphia.
The terrorist bombings of commuter trains in Madrid in March that killed 191 people, has forced authorities to take any suspicious activity seriously, ABC cited unidentified security officials as saying. The Department of Homeland Security today ordered Amtrak, the nationwide passenger service, and operators of commuter trains to boost security against terrorism by increasing inspections and the use of bomb-sniffing dogs.

For Immediate Release

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today issued Security Directives (SD) requiring protective measures to be implemented by passenger rail operators. The measures instruct commuter, transit and inter-city passenger rail systems to comply with requirements that range from removing or replacing station trash cans to utilizing canine explosives detection teams.
The directives, which will be administered by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), were signed today and take effect on May 23. The directives apply to all passenger rail owners/operators. These include light rail systems, inter-city passenger rail systems such as Amtrak, commuter rail operations such as the Maryland Rail Commuter and Long Island Railroad, as well as subway systems nationwide.
"Millions of Americans travel by rail every day and recent world events highlight the need to ensure they are kept safe from acts of terror. These protective measures, along with others already in place, advance our mission to ensure rail passengers are protected," stated Asa Hutchinson, Under Secretary for Border and Transportation Security at DHS.
The mandatory measures cover a broad range of security issues and provide flexibility to meet the specific needs of rail operators. They substantiate existing best practices in the rail industry and will ensure enhanced security across the nations passenger rail systems. The directives require rail operators to take a number of steps, among them:
1. Rail owners/operators must designate coordinators to enhance security-related communications with the TSA.
2. Passengers and employees will be asked to report unattended property or suspicious behavior.
3. At certain locations, operators will be required to remove trash receptacles, except clear plastic or bomb-resistant trash containers.
4. When needed, canine explosive teams may be utilized to screen passenger baggage, terminals and trains.
5. Facility inspections will be conducted by rail operators for suspicious or unattended items.
6. Rail operators will ensure that security is at appropriate levels consistent with the DHS established threat level.
The protective measures announced today are the latest in a series of initiatives DHS, the Department of Transportation and the industry have put in place to strengthen rail security. These measures include:
Assessing new technologies at the New Carrollton, Md. Amtrak and Maryland Rail Commuter station
Conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments of rail and transit networks that operate in high-density urban areas
Training for rail personnel in preventing and responding to potential terrorist events
Allocating over $115 million since May 2003 to improve rail and transit security in urban areas
Developing new technologies including chemical and biological countermeasures

7 Train!!! ...that's my train. Has anybody heard what happened to those Iranians who filmed the 7 train? (likely released with their film returned???)
Think about all the extra tax $$$$ going straight to the bottom line of the deficit as a result of the increased gas prices. Won't the dems be surprised when they figure that out?
As soon as President Bush announces that we're going to build new refineries HERE in the US (more jobs) or start a new place to drill HERE in the US (more jobs), the gas prices will plummet and the dems won't know what hit 'em. ;-)
I predict gas prices coming back down by mid-August.
Interesting. Something is definitely up for them to impose such extreme measures on the entire NYC subway system.
Fits in with all the stolen stuff over the last two years. Let's not forget the pilot and flight attendant uniforms stolen, so it would be easy at least to get into the terminal.
Don't forget the post from yesterday re: "He has shaved its beard and got the American visa easily" If that is an accurate post the time is very near. (however now that I look at that again, he did not say shaved everything, just the beard to get here, maybe)Who is "he"?
At least now I feel someone is paying attention to all these odd happenings going on.
PS/thanks all4one for all the news posts today. It's a lot of research and hard work I know. I see some of them have been posted again (I wish we could search).
Jesus, Mary, Joseph!
Is that the ONLY thing the FBI spoksperson knows how to say???
You folks along that rail line, please be careful!
