Damn, now I MUST get my hands on it. I'm into volume 3 and I really think you could demultiply every volume and still get a gripping story. Hitchcock said "the badder the villain, the better the story", and you've certainly very good/bad villains here.

From the outset, chapter one of volume one, you have exhibited a Clancy-like (sometimes superior to him, IMO) ability to weave a believable, suspenseful, fact-based tale of what we can expect if we remain voluntarily pseudo-insulated from the dangers that no longer lurk abroad, but are infiltrating every aspect of American life.
My editing assignments have become almost insignificant, because your writing abilities, although strong at the outset, have become even more sharply honed. (That’s not a complaint, mind you. I find myself sitting in front of my computer screen, enmeshed in the storyline, and sometimes forgetting that I supposedly have a job to do. :)
I read an article recently (in Imprimis , IMO the most excellent college-published speech digest available), entitled Radical Islam in America, that is one of the most frightening commentaries I have ever come across. Its major emphasis is on the fact that the Wahhabi doctrine of Islam (with virulence as its only message), and enjoying a powerful Saudi base, is running the show in America. They have potent media influence; they virtually control the Muslim religious teachings (preaching extremist doctrine, and directly recruiting new terrorists) among the American prison population, and they are chartering Islamic academies in all fifty states: Islamic elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools – supported by Saudi money, and teaching violent, anti-American Wahhabi doctrine.
This brutal, activist sect is training our enemies right here on our own soil, and the number of their training facilities (mosques, prisons, schools) is growing by leaps and bounds. This article's findings should read as glaring headlines in every major newspaper, but for the fact that most major newspapers are more concerned with America's 'infringing on the civil rights' of those involved. The (purposeful) idiocy is almost surreal.
Sorry for the rant. :) I guess your ping here reminded me that shades of this infiltration are in your Dragon’s Fury series. For that reason (among others) I would like to see it in every American household. Not just sitting on the bookcase or coffee table, but read, comprehended, and taken to heart, before it's too late.
