Conservatives have been asking for years for someone to step up and challenge the Houston Chronicle's constant liberal bias. Friday I launched chronicallybiased.com Go to: www.chronicallybiased.com and read the real truth. Our first day was a huge success! Thousands read the site and 99% of those who responded raved about the site. I give credit to our great team of volunteer writers and programmers. Read through the site. There is a lot to read. We will print 7 days a week. We update throughout the day, iincluding our midnight writer.

That's cool! Y'know, I'm gonna have to credit Dan Patrick with
getting me in touch with my inner conservative- I lived in Houston in the late '80's, and was there when he started KSEV radio, and brought Rush to town (and later got us a stop on the Rush to Excellence tour). Glad to know that he's still going strong!

Thank you for the info. We stopped taking the Houston Chronicle almost 10 yrs. ago. They aren't just politically biased, they can't even get college football right and that's what was the last straw with my husband. He had a 'spirited' conversation with the sports writer and then cancelled our subscription. Dan's site will be a good addition to my daily reading!

Dan is on fire. He's great and has formed an organization to fight property tax increses called C.L.O.U.T. Dan and his supporters have made huge waves at the state level and are holding elected officials accountable.... How refreshing!!! I hope all of you will give this website some well deserved hits.

I'm so glad you found the Wham Bam Tram accident counter. The Steetcar Named Disaster is a hoot! Everyone needs to check it out
here!

I think that when they linked to the Wham-Bam-Tram Ram Counter, it increased our hit rate significantly, at Action America. It's kind of hard to tell, right now, though. I just published a new article that bumped our hits up to more than 57,000 in a single day, so some of the traffic may be residuals to that article. Even so, our traffic had tapered off to a little more than 10,000 hits the day before they posted that link and the next day, it went to well over 40,000 hits. I have to think that Chronically Biased had a lot to do with that bump.We sure need a site like theirs, here in Houston and it needs to be successful. This is a very good sign. If they are driving that much traffic to Action America, then just think how much more traffic they have to be getting.
I also noticed that today, they had to discontinue the comments feature, due to bandwidth concerns. I should be so lucky, as to have that much traffic on Action America.
Way to go Chronically Biased!!!
And, oh yes. Thanks for linking to Action America, guys. We appreciate the additional traffic.

Ha! How interesting! And look at the cartoon in today's Houston Chronicle.

NOTE: This cartoon will change with the next edition of the Houston Chronicle.
