Would we be better off planning for a major Freep once the real fight is on this fall? It might have a better impact then?
Well there is never a freep in Oregon people never do anything here so, I dont think it matters

Why isn't John Kerry going to be in Massachusetts on the day gay marriage becomes legal? Always a coward!
We have tickets but King Vanity did not want to go(all day trip for us) then today he changed his mind, to late I already booked a massage for him at noon and it takes 6six hrs. to set him up and drive one way.
But here is an event updated for the rest of you:
Dear Christopher,
Thank you for signing up for tickets to the rally with John Kerry and Howard Dean. Your support remains crucial to this campaign, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
There are a couple of updates we would like to share with you. The rally tomorrow, Monday, May 17th, with John Kerry and Governor Howard Dean will also be featuring a performance by Art Alexakis of Everclear. The gates will be opening earlier than expected: 4:00 PM instead of 4:30 PM. The event will take place RAIN or SHINE.
Please FORWARD THIS EMAIL to your friends and family, and have them join you at this event to cheer John Kerry all the way to the White House.
Tell your friends to get their free ticket(s) by clicking here:

See you there!
Oregon for Kerry
If anyone from the Newport area is going and needs tickets we have a pass for 4.
We want to see pictures! Have a great FReep.
Kerry has very thin skin. He gets upset over even a small protest against him. Go Oregon.
it doesnt look like very many there for Portland. Maybe 700?
bttt
Around 450 acc. to TV station.
He's talking about job losses. Does he read?
Mr. Kerry, how many miles away IS Mars, and just how do you expect that one gets there?
Small crowd. Looks like the only ones there were the foreign leaders who want him to defeat President Bush.
"We're All In The Same Boat!"
The suggestion that we "wait until the fall" before
we freep a Kerry rally is unproductive and demoralizing.
People are "paying attention" NOW. And the more we do, the more they will pay attention.
Inaction by the right, perfectly exemplified by the advice to "wait until people are paying attention," is as big a reason as any for why the left holds the real power in this society. They DO NOT wait until "people are paying attention." They go out and GRAB people's attention. That's the difference between serious politics and kick-me passivity. It's also the difference between Freepers and the country-club mindset of the RNC, the Bush White House, Bill Frist, Denny Hastert, Orrin Hatch, etc., etc., etc. ... These people cannot win for us. We have to win on our own. And we have to do or say something EVERY DAY to affect this election. Otherwise we will lose our country and Western civilization.
Dick Morris recently criticized a comment by a Kerry official to the effect that "in politics, you won't win every day." Morris said that in contemporary politics, you really do have to win every day. I'd amend that to: You have to TRY to win every day.
If we Republicans and conservatives wait until October to get active, the Demoncrats will eat our lunch!!!!
