HAVANA, Cuba (AP) -- Cuban President Fidel Castro launched an immense anti-American protest on Friday with denunciations and ridicule of President Bush, saying the U.S. leader was fraudulently elected and trying to impose "world tyranny."
The Cuban leader led a sea of Cubans past the U.S. diplomatic mission here on the oceanfront Malecon Boulevard in a demonstration organized by the communist government against new U.S. measures aimed at squeezing the island's economy and pushing out Castro.
The crowd chanted "Free Cuba! Fascist Bush!"
Castro said the march was "an act of indignant protest and a denunciation of the brutal, merciless and cruel measures" announced last week by Bush to tighten the 44-year U.S. embargo on the island.

Castro can trade with the rest of the entire world. I wouldn't think he should be too disturbed just because one "poisonous capatalistic" country won't trade with him.

(Castro says)
the U.S. leader was fraudulently elected and trying to impose "world tyranny."It always amazes me how much Castro and Kim Jong Il sound like Teddy Kennedy, Al Gore, and the rest of the Dims.

Yeah, JFK didn't help the liberal cause much when he was too busy campaigning to renew their unemployment benefits...

...and Castro was elected in a election over-seen by the Vatican and Mother Theresa.
...Nothing gets me to change my mind faster than a mass protest by people that have been told to march or die.
Liberals are NOT stupid enough to be impressed by any "protest" in Cuba. So we don't even need to say what normal people will think about this.

Bush should stop tolerating this gang of fascist punks and Free Cuba.He can't even fire Tenet. He can't secure our borders. He can't get his pubbie majority to get judges confirmed. He's still spouting that Islam is a religion of peace. Me thinks he's got a few more pressing issues than Cuba.

I was surfing past CNN at lunch time and happened upon the footage of this. Honestly, my initial reaction was "Who Cares!?"
They said the protestors were bused in to the protest site. Then I saw some close ups of the flag waving crowd. They all looked so sad! You cold tell this was not their idea of what to be protesting about.

Rush is live now saying that it is a "Pro-Kerry" march. Well, I guess the two go hand-in-hand. "Pro-Kerry" is as anti-American as I think you can get until Hillary starts looking good to you.

Yep. Marches like that are expensive in Cuba. Intimidations and rewards are used to recruit marchers.

So, ol' Fidel got this going...he reminds me of Jesse Jackson and his "Protesters-R-Us" gang he buses in to any location bearing TV cameras.
