I'm sure that, for the months preceding the first broadcast, Al Franken and the other AA buffoons were the toast of the town. Now they're just toast. I wonder what Al talks about now, when he goes to those Manhattan cocktail parties. Or perhaps he's not invited any more.

I think I'll hang onto my tag line a while longer.

This must certainly be an oversight, rather than fraud. The devotion of liberals to health care coverage for all is so well-known that it is inconceivable that this could be deliberate. Incompetence, not criminality, must be at work. Well, I'm not in a position to accuse them of fraud, but what is well-known is that Liberals talk a good game about high-minded values, but where the rubber meets the road, it's often a very different story.

LONG, SLOW SLIDE???????!!!!!!????? This has to hold the record for the fastest fall for any company in the history of capitalism in the universe! Even Broadway shows that close overnight have had months and even years of preparation to get there. Yikes.

This statement is an insult to sophomores everywhere. Very true. A "sophomore" is literally a "wise fool" from the roots of the word. Air America broadcasters don't quite meet that standard -- they are simply foolish wise-asses.

Just consider "Air America" a microcosm of what our America would be like under liberal rule. Morally, and financially bankrupt.
Al Franken's hatred for both Rush and O'Reilly probably was the catalyst that launched this fiasco; he had the unmitigated gall to think that he could "motivate" liberals and middle-of-the-roaders to think "democRAT".
Personnally, I don't think Al Franken has the grey matter to be able to outsmart anyone past the idiots he convinced to put up the inital money for this fiasco.
He has no audience other than people who are already so liberal they hate the U.S. What's he going to try to do, make them hate it even more?
Air America is singing to the choir, and even they are tired of the same song over and over. How can a cult (and that is what the democratic party has become, a Cult) expect to actually ADVERTISE their beliefs on the radio and expect to get converts?
I say they're getting what they deserve, and good riddance. I think the best job Franken could get is a baggage handler for Amtrack, that he played in "Trading Places". He should have skipped that [dumb and dumber] role, as it will always be the image I conjure up when I hear the name, "Al Franken".
And no love lost with Randi Rhodes either...if I had my way she'd be lucky to get a job waitressing at Waffle House.
Both Franken and Rhodes sound like two 8th graders playing Prince Albert phone pranks with their silliness.
When you go to a book store and see one of Al Frankens "gems", take it to the Spanish section and bury it behind other books. After all, that's what the liberals were doing with Rush's books, wasn't it?

"Strange jab by the author. Is he not for health care?It was sarcasm. The lefties like to claim they are the ones who care enough to want to provide health care for everyone. The author's implication is they are stupid because they'd never do this on purpose.

"Frankly I'm surprised and amazed that this operation could have possibly been run so badly."
What surprises me even more is that the lib/dems who really need for this to suceed did not contibute financially in one way or another to ensure the longevity of AirAmerica...at least until the election. It doesn't look like it's going to survive until Nov. 2. What a shame!

It sounded like NPR only not as funny! Atleast on NPR you will hear radio professionals with the requesit skills to do the job. Not so with Air America.
Also, AA is so unoriginal, and so unable to be original that many of their shows titles are stolen from other shows.
NPR has Morning Edition. AA has Morning Sedition.
Fox has the O'Reilly Factor. AA has the O'Franken Factor
There are others. And wasn't there a show previously called "The Majority Report"? Which is what Garafalo's show is called. And the original name for Air America was "Central Air." Clearly stolen from NPR's Fresh Air.
