An employee at the second one, which is called Prometheus Radio Project, said it was not affiliated with the business owned by the local man slain in Iraq by members of al-Qaida.

Interesting... because if the WERE connected, that would be a direct link to George Soros and his 'Open Society', according to Columbia Journalism Review.

One thing's certian. If Berg were a CIA agent, his cover story company would certainly have been registered in PA.

Prometheus (pro ME thee us)

The Rebel

Prometheus was a not a fool, but why else would he rebel against Zeus?

He tried to trick Zeus (who knows all and sees all) with a false sacrifice.

How foolish can you get? Prometheus also stole fire from Zeus and gave it to the primitive mortals on the earth.

Zeus did not punish Prometheus alone, he punished the entire world for the effrontery of this rebel god.

Extremely interesting link. I note that the Prometheus Project is also in PA (although in Philly).

It could, of course, just be another coincidence. Daddy Berg clearly saw himself as a sort of rebel, and quite possibly named their company Prometheus Methods to indicate that he was "challenging authority," or some such twaddle.

This is also very weird. If Berg was going around trying to get work from Iraqi companies, he would need paperwork in spades showing who he was, his qualifications, and a US place of business which would have to be easy for a potential client to track down. Frauds were all over the Middle East trying to rip off some quick petrodollars in the 1970's and 80's, so ME businessmen keep a sharp eye out for them now.

Sadly for this man as with others who seek to exploit tragedy, the more he speaks the more questions are raised.

I'm afraid this man will find himself far more exposed than he planned.

"My son was not over there to make money," Michael Berg said. "My son’s business, which was very profitable before he went to Iraq ..I will make good on anything the company owes anybody, but it’s pretty much going to be defunct."

I'm sure the IRS would be aware if Prometheus Methods was profitable. But I'd don't believe a word dad says.

PROMETHEUS Methods TOWER Services.....Is this some kind of sneaky joke about the how rhe Towers at WTC were brought down by "God's own special methods'? It's kind of an odd name, is it not?

"There’s a lot of paperwork to go through, and the area we were looking at was a marsh- land so we had to get clearance," he said."When I do get the OK, I’ll have to look for another contractor

I guess contractors don't have to be licensed in PA.

Pinging a few from the long thread over to this information. See the link in posts 1 and 2 for an interesting connection that calcowgirl has found.

from the link:

"Prometheus has played a significant role in the struggle by community groups to establish low-power radio stations — a struggle that has involved the FCC, the National Association of Broadcasters, and National Public Radio. It has also been influential in the fight against media consolidation. A recent ruling in its suit, Prometheus Radio Project v. Federal Communications Commission, has prevented the FCC from enacting new rules that would ease long-standing media ownership limits. Prometheus operates with a staff of three out of a church basement in Philadelphia."

It's true that many new companies do not register
with the Sec. of State, but his company name ends with
.Inc which usually means (if you are a small company),
you probably did register as a S-Corp (Inc.).
Anyway, I was able to find his company listed with
Dunn and Bradstreet (Business Credit Reporting Agency).
Here's the link:
