May 14, 2004 -- Iraq's feared Abu Ghraib jail was one big sex romp - sometimes by candlelight with an audience watching, U.S. troops said yesterday. Sex and alcohol were commonplace, and soldiers frequently set up candlelit rooms for voyeuristic sex shows, said a soldier who served at the notorious prison.

The problem with comparing the murder of Mr. Berg, with the porn in Abu Ghraib prison is that the two are so different. One is committed by low life savages, who are belong to barbaric culture, and violent religion. Every body knows that, and no one is surprised that they are sub-humans. Historically, Moslems have slaughtered so many people; to the extent that the word ASSASIN in the dictionary explains its Arabic Moslem roots. The others, the trail trash Americans in Abu Ghraib, they are belong to the most civilized country the best military, the best religion (Christianity requires us to love our enemies), the best instruction (to win the heats and minds of the Iraqis), and hence the world sense of disbelief/disappointment.

The pregnant England, who is now stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., met Graner, 35, a divorced father of two, shortly before the pair's Maryland-based unit was posted to Iraq.

Taking bets on the identity of the father.........

Why have female guards in a male prison?

Excellent question. After all this time, I don't recall any of the talking heads even asking why a female was assigned this duty. More PC crap.

Some reporter should have been stationed outside the 'locked room' to see which pervert Congresscritters went into view the latest photos.

This bunch of Congresscritters reminds me of a skit Carol Burnet on her show decades ago. She was a member of the Lady's Church League who made recommendations to the city about which movies should and should not be shown. She played the typical old maid, spinster type. She and her committee cohort, of course, had to preview the movies before recommendations. So spinster got to see the movies. Of course, afterward, she reported them as bad and not suitable for 'others' to view. hehehe.

Another problem is LACK OF MORALS -- certainly on Pfc. England's part.

Well if "SHE" has a lack of morals, then "certainly" all the MEN she was reportedly having sex with, or who took photos of her having sex, ALSO have a lack of morals. It takes TWO to tango, remember?

The rest of this is just a general rant about this thread, not directed at you personally:

Don't you think the reason SHE was shown mocking the naked Iraqi prisoners is because our MALES knew how humiliating it would be to Iraqi males to be mocked by a woman, considering the Iraqis think their own women are fourth-class citizens. Do you really think SHE said "Here, take my picture while I mock these naked prisoners"? Isn't it more likely that our MALES said to her, "YOU go stand there and point at them"?? Which would be more humiliating for we American males, to have a Man mock our private parts, or to have a Woman mock our private parts? I don't know ANY Man that would prefer to have a Woman mocking him, let alone an Iraqi Man who thinks Women are sub-human! And THAT is why they HAD HER do so much of the posing -- to HUMILIATE the prisoners. Not because she is any more or less lacking in morals than those who took the photos!

And all this talk of "why were women allowed to guard a male prison"... as if that's the cause of this whole scandal, WOMEN ?? Hello? Didn't any of you see how many MEN were involved in the prison scandal?? Why were THEY allowed to guard at the prison?? This isn't about the GENDER of the guards, it's about the CHARACTER of the guards, and/or their leadership.

"I'm not to sure about that on two counts; 1) that the general is a 'woman,' and 2) she was actually running the place (incompetent)"

The odds are that the General is a woman. It's at least 60-40 :-D

And we've been told she's "married." To a man(?) who also serves, but as far away from his "wife" as possible.

Besides the "incompetence" charge, dontcha get the feeling that Karpinski will wind up with charges longer than a Chinese Restaurant menu?

We can thank Patsy Schroeder and Hitlery for their part in helping dismantle corp morale with their insistance that our combat Armed Forces be under the command of girls -- disrespect was bound to happen.

Clinton's probably sorry he missed out on the whole thing - after all, he brought it into the White House and Oval Office. Has anyone looked around for videos from the Oval Office, by the way?

One of the biggest problems the military has is the ubiquitous mixing of men and women in nearly all units. Why is anybody surprised raging hormones take over in some of these people when their units are deployed to remote locations? It is a scandal always waiting to happen.

The dirty little secret is, we have brought most of this on ourselves through our PC personnel policies and insistence we mix an explosive mix together in our military and pretend it won't go off at some point. Well, it just has, again. And it will, again.

Sex and fraternization have become a common problem ever since the services were sexually integrated at all levels. Ask anybody who has ever been deployed if it is not a problem and often a really big one. Heck, it is even a problem when a unit is not deployed. It is one of the biggest disciplinary and underlying problems the military has to readiness and good order, and we have been purposefully averting our eyes for decades about it because this integration is "policy" and anybody who values his career had better support it and make it "work".

Our blind quest for gender "equality" in the military and our PC attitudes which require us not to face the root problems here are going to be the death of us all.

Well put. To make this about women in the military is just twisting the facts to fit their pet issue. This group of people were depraved and corrupt. This is not the normal response normal males OR females would have. This freaky situation does not in any way reflect the others serving honorably.

"I wonder that the 'bent one' thinks about all of this."

I wonder what Jessica Lynch and Shoshonna Johnson think of all of this? Were their units just as raunchy? Are they sickened over it? Inqiring minds want to know.

"Ms. England is quite the pillar of womanly virtue."

Unfortunately, she's being depicted as a pillar of womanly victimhood on many of the news shows. And folks like Diane Sawyer just love her, go figure. One minute she's carping on the "atrocities" and the next she's portraying Ms. England as a sweet little victim. You'd almost think she hadn't seen the pictures of England grinning like a fool, cigarette drooping from her smirk.

Exactly....my first thought was how exactly is this any worse than school children being taught the fine art of "fisting"? All symptoms of the same diseased culture.

Did anyone see IMUS this morning? He was talking about the panties on that prisoners head. He said, "they look like pretty large panties, maybe Hillary left them there on her trip." ROFL.

FYI: Ilsa of Iraq, BGEN Karpinski, will be taking questions, live at 11 AM, EDT, at the Wash Post web site. It's a little busy right now, but you will be able to read the transcript afterward if you can't get your questions answered.

A chaplain is supposed to walk around and be the eyes and ears of the commander about these kinds of things. My point is that their chaplain failed....if they have one.

The investigation revealed these escapes would occur at 0200 or 0300 and that the videos document that those involved posted lookouts to warn if any other Americans were coming.

The investigation also showed a complete vaccum of leadership on the part of General Janice Karpinski.

News of the shocking sexcapades in the controversial lockup come as a friend of disgraced reservist Lynndie England lashed out in her defense yesterday, saying tapes of her having sex in the prison were personal to her and the boyfriend with whom she is "in love."

How personal can the tapes be if the sex is in front of prisoners?
