I'm trying to get the "borrowed internet account" story straight.

Berg's father says a terrorist riding on a bus with his son, used his son's internet account.

Other reports (FBI?) said a third person borrowed Berg's account and passed it on to Moussaoui.

I think that he was trying to say that after the terrorist used Berg's email account, the address was then passed on, perhaps through forwarding maybe?

Anyway, it seems to me that if his email address was passed on and actually used, there isn't anyway for Berg not to know it is there?

I hate to say it, but I am starting to think Nick Berg was not just some innocent contracter trying to make money.

Sure I turn over use of my internet account to ANYONE I casually meet (like on a bus)... don't you? /sarcasm

And yet there's more according to this story:

Investigators concluded that Berg's e-mail address had been spread among dozens of people with links to the university.

And Nick Berg did not question this?

"I think that the people of the United States of America need to know what the fate of their sons and daughters might be in the hands of the Bush administration."

Sorry, but the U.S. does not negotiate with terrorists. Imagine if a prisoner was exchanged who eventually turned out to be the next Osama... And the reality is, Nick Berg should not have been in Iraq on his own. He did not deserve to die the way he did but he took his own chances. Don't our troops there have enough to worry about without having to keep track of individual contractors? If Nick wanted to assist in the rebuilding effort, he should have signed-up with one the large contractors who could have offered him security and training. He chose to be a free spirit; unfortunately, it cost him dearly. To blame the Bush admin. is absurd...

This whole Berg-Moussaoui-AQ-Iraq connection is highly suspicious in my opinion.
