Thank you for posting the pics side by side.

I am really trying hard to find definite similarities between Nick and the man in the video. The shape of the face looks wrong. Nick's ears stick out a little (like my kids), but even with hair, the other pic shows ears close to the head. Something else stands out. When do terrorists carefully barber a man they are about to kill? The hair is neat, and so is the beard. There is no mustache. Why would these thugs bother?

SO, I guess it was his aunt (I thought his sister) who is dead and previously married to an Iraqi who lives in Baghdad?

Was there any more information on this aspect? (sorry, but I haven't read the ENTIRE thread)...

It was a joke. You're in Oklahoma. It seems Oklahoma is the nexus for all sorts of things. Like Area 51 or Studio 54 or Eighty-four, PA. Maybe you're a mole or a troll or secretly working as a quadruple agent for the CIA and Mossad and Al Qaeda and the Knights of Columbus.

Can any of us be really sure?

Why would they care about leaving fingerprints? They are terrorists, they are going to take credit for their "deed".

son refused a U.S. offer in early April to board an outbound charter jet because he believed travel to the airport was too dangerous. American soldiers refer to the airport highway as "RPG Alley" because of frequent attacks by insurgents firing rocket-propelled grenades"

Once you get into the South of Iraq, you're probably relatively safe, provided you skip Najaf and Karbala. If he really did fear going to the airport, it is possible he was attempting to get to Southern Iraq where he could then travel in relative safety across the border.

Not necessarily a "complete my mission" kind of deal.

" And this thing about Moussaui (however its spelled) is even stranger. I have to say I can't wait to hear more. This could get interesting."

You are post 630 and suggesting this topic could get interesting?

And what's up with the Kerry call with Berg Sr.?

I would loved to have listened in on that conversation.

Something about the dad just turns my stomach--(besides his being so left wing nutso). Could his "turn-coat" kid have been an innocent dupe in something we can't even imagine? I mean, the way he 'collapsed' on the front yard for all the press to record was too staged for me. His on-going comments to the media are bizarre.

In my hypothetical, he believed the AQ would accept his creds as an ANSWER symp of AQ, old Moussawi confidant/helper from OU, etc. He believed he could make them trust him.

They just saw a Jew, and probable Mossad and or CIA spy, sent to infiltrate, to leave bombing beacons etc.

Hence, "They killed their best friend."

That's one possible scenario.

Positively reptilian.

1. I never claimed his uncle-in-law was AQ.
2. I never claimed he was a terrorist sympathizer.
3. You need to get over yourself.

Great research and patience to determine this, especially in light of the content.

"I didn't see that--if you find it in print, mail it to me.

I don't know if I can find the exact quote in Print. I saw the father say it on FoxNewsLive.

Yahoo and Reuter's is quoting him as saying: "They don't know what they have done. He was their friend.

Both my husband and I heard the father say; "They don't know what they have done, he was a friend (to) or (of) the Al Queda.". I might have thought I heard him wrong except for the fact the News anchor, Rick, then came on and said; "He meant to say a friend of the Iraqi's."

why would they off such a valuable foe of the 'dog of Christians' (isn't that what they called Bush?).

I think the answer could be in his father's eagerness to place all the blame on our government. The FBI questioned Nick one too many times, making his friends get suspicious that he might be a double agent. He's talking to them, he's talking to the FBI --- it would explain why the son would blame the government for detaining him.

I am sure Teddy Kennedy will be able to get air time to announce that this was a Right Wing Conspiracy!

Just as soon as they dry him out.
