This is unbelievable. This guy at the NYDaily News asked GM why they advertised on Air America. GM said it was a mistake and they were going to court to get them stop running their commercials.
Ryndee Carney, GM's manager of marketing communications, said the ads were wrongly picked up from an earlier deal with WLIB. She said the station was ordered to "cease and desist" yesterday, and added: "GM will not advertise on any Air America affiliates."

Air America has shut its sales offices in Los Angeles and Chicago and is recasting its business plan, the network's president said on Wednesday as troubles beset the liberal talk show network. Didn't they aren't do this??

The fact that we are moving the needle so quickly with affiliates has surprised us and negated the need for us to control our own stations," Sinton said.Yeah...OK...I buy that.
The most important job Sinton has....is hiring someone that can write a press release, that will not evoke overwhelming guffaws!

Serious errors in business judgment account for Air America's problems This is true with all liberals. Leaving them in charge is like letting the inmates run the asylum.

From what I have read about the comments made "on-air" by Air America's Hosts, it's no wonder why they're going down the tubes. It's one thing to be a Liberal, it's another to be an anti-American leftist spewing hatred for this country.
Many liberal minded people have serious concerns over the War on Terror because of their sensitive nature and their inability confront the evil in this world, but they do not appreciate a scumbag like Al Franken comparing what we are doing in Iraq to Hitler's Nazi Germany intentions for Europe.
Air America was doomed to fail the moment they contracted Al Franken as a Host. Franken has never had anything intelligent to say about todays political arena, nor has he said anything intelligent about much at all. Yet the Liberals hired this idiot to speak for them!!!!, GO Figure!
Here is the RUB....... Liberals will never succeed in talk radio because they don't want to connect with their audience, they want to preach to them. They don't challenge their audience, they patronize them. They don't lift up their audience, they drag them down.
the bottom line is this.... They will never succeed in Talk Radio because they look at the glass as half full, and that's not what America is all about

About 15 to 20 people were laid off in the closing of the sales offices..... People in the "Franken Economy" are losing their jobs at a record rate. How short were their careers at "The Amateur Hour"?

After its launch, a dispute with business partner Multicultural Radio Broadcasting led to its programing being yanked from the air in Chicago and Los Angeles. It doesn't speak well for Air America's liberals when the Multiculturals say, "Take a hike".

I realized this morning that my gypsy cab driver had Air America on the radio. I said, "That's Air America!" and starting laughing continuously, out loud. He was embarrassed and said, "I just play what's on."
Then he told me it was a new station just recently put on the air. I told him, "It's going to be recently off the air any day now," and continued to laugh out loud, hard.
