Early this Morning, the President started his day at the Pentagon for another briefing from Sec. Defense Rumsfeld.

Before boarding Marine1 this Morning, the President spoke with the White Press Corps on the grounds of the White House where he express outrage at the brutal murder of an American citizen who was in Iraq to help rebuild the country, and then expressed his condolences to the Berg family for their loss.

Pres. Bush flew on Marine1 to NIH where he promoted the administration's "Reading First" program with curriculum developed in part from NIH research into why millions of students cannot read up to their grade level. So far, the "Reading First" initiative involves 73,000 teachers, more than 1 million students and a commitment to spend $5 billion over five years, Pres. Bush reported.

Pres. Bush also met with the President of Angola, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, in the Oval Office of the White House to discuss HIV/AIDS and education in Angola.

I don't remember who asked the question, but someone on Monday's Dose asked "what is the round badge under Gen. Myer's and Gen. Pace's ribbons?"

I thought it might have been OIF medals but I was informed by an Air Force source that they are both wearing Chief of Staff badges. In the case of Gen. Myers, hs is Chief of Staff, and it is why the badge would be different from that of Gen. Pace's.

Now if I could only remember who asked the question so I could pink them to the answer.

Exactly, annie. I pray for the same thing.......that he stay in the word and in prayer, and be faithful to his Lord and Savior during these awful times.

btw, not only does the President have media vipers, but he has them 24/7. I have reached the point of saturation. I can't take any more, so I have shut down my exposure to the libelous, evil media for a while.

I don't know how the President and First Lady.........or any member of this fine, honorable administration.......handle it.

More prayers for ALL of them.......and for the TRUTH to be made known to the American people.

We are lucky I was able to post any of them.

I made the mistake (;o( of downloading "updates" to Microsoft Windows and my stable system suddenly went flaky. GRRRRrrrrrrr!!

I couldn't keep any windows open - everytime I clicked on a picture to enlarge it, to copy the html to post it - Windows died.

I was thinking I was going to have to scoot over to a friend's and do the Dose from there. Her system is slow but at least, I can get the information on the pictures that I need, in order to post them.
