Arabs React to Execution

BEIRUT, Lebanon Arab media have reacted cautiously to the beheading of an American civilian on a video issued by an associate of Usama bin Laden, with some newspapers conspicuously playing it down or even ignoring it.
Opinion-makers condemned the execution of Nick Berg (search), an American businessman who had been kidnapped in Iraq in April. The biggest pan-Arab satellite television channels broadcast an edited version of the video, cutting out the severing of the head as indecent.
"This shows how base and vile those who wear the robe of Islam have become," said Abdullah Sahar, a Kuwait University political scientist.

In many Arab newspapers, the beheading received less play than the news of America's imposing sanctions on Syria and the killing of six Israeli soldiers in Gaza City.

Al-Jazeera said:
"The news story itself is strong enough," said Jihad Ballout, spokesman for Qatar-based Al-Jazeera television. "To show the actual beheading is out of the realm of decency."
On, REALLY? So ... it's out of the realm of decency to show such an act, and thereby display to the Arab public the EVIL acts of Al Queda, but it's not out of the "realm of decency" for Al Queda to actually DO it. How convenient!

"This shows how base and vile those who wear the robe of Islam have become,"
I was under the impression that butchery and criminal behavior has been the status quo since the inception of Islam. Why suddenly all the concern Mr Moderate Muzzy pants?

I expect them to say the al Qaeda snuff video is a Mossad hoax that's part of the ongoing Zionist plot to make Arabs look bad.

How about murdering an innocent person in a most cruel and inhuman fashion, and the 4 civilians about 2 months ago and the list keeps on growing. Islam--the religion of evil.

Isn't that something like the DUers were saying last night. That the CIA did it to get the harrassment photos off the front pages.

This is not to say that all muslims are IslamoNazis but all IslamoNazis are muslims.

No, but some "American" Democrats are saying the CIA killed this guy to get the Abu Gharib story off the front page.
Unfreakingbelievable.
To: Militiaman7
Yes. They commented how you never see the faces of the men who do the killing. They blamed the US for actually committing the murder just like they claimed the US had white Timothy McVeigh types kill Americans on the 9.11 flights.

Don't you love this:
"In many Arab newspapers, the beheading received less play than the news of America's imposing sanctions on Syria and the killing of six Israeli soldiers in Gaza City."
Israeli-Jews slaughtered and parts paraded around = 'good Arab TV'
American-Jew beheading = 'not so good Arab TV'

I expect them to say the al Qaeda snuff video is a Mossad hoax Heck that's nothing. Yesterday (even at 5PM CST) the CBS website said that the video may not even be authentic.
Yeah, the IslamoNazis have a special effects team make up a robot prisoner that will move before the head is cut off and that can be stopped after the "murder".
Also Nick Berg's body was discovered Saturday and the head was cut off.
The media is antiAmerican.

Porn site fake photos of "prisoners" being "raped" == Front Page arab news
Genuine footage of IslamoNazis killing a man in the name of Allah (88 times) == bad arab news.

They certainly aren't alone in downplaying the beheading! Incredibly enough the US media is just as serious about ignoring any examples of Arab brutality --- maybe they've got the same agenda going.

Neither could the Daily Mirror. The photos of the British troops urinating on prisoners has been identified as being faked (even though it didn't come from a porn site).

And all this time I thought that Al Queda had nothing to do with Iraq! At least that's exactly what the RATs and the leftist media have been saying since Iraq was invaded and liberated from Saddam. There's a strange disconnect in the media--either they don't get the facts or get them and ignore them or they are just following the evil misinformation from RAT leadership. The latter appears to me to be the truth.
