[history]
May 12, 2004 -- I KNOW why you wear ski masks. I know why you tied up Nick Berg, leaving him unable to fight back.
I know why the odds were 5 to 1.
You say your unspeakable act of barbarity was retaliation for what happened in Abu Ghraib prison.

She is cherished and WWII vintage. I like my Rugers for light weight and dependability.

I like the 1911 and all the newer models as well. But my Ruger 45 ACP is a sweet shooting sidearm. Accurate out of the box and very smooth after I did some custom polishing. More than 1000 rounds without a jam. My Ruger 9mm is identical except the caliber.
The 45 looks like this.

.270 Weatherby - reach out and touch a terrorist.
I'm no expert, but I suspect .308 and .50 calibers are doing most of the talking.
I heard an ABC Radio news report today that Marine snipers are targeting
just about anyone who moves on the street of some city in Iraq.
The reporter all but made it sound like our Marines were probably popping
old ladies in hajibs...d-mned idiot reporters.

I am as pissed as I was on 9-11. I hate that I am to old to back in the Army and kill some of these SOB's.
I hope this leads to a surge in recruitment for the US armed services.

Prayers for you and yours. Give them all the h--- you can.

Ruger has always made smooth functioning firearms. When I was in the Army as a pilot I was issued a 1911 in Vietnam but once stateside was issued a Colt .38 then later a Ruger .38 and the Ruger seemed to be the better .38. But my favorite has always been that old .45 tho'.

The 1911 is a beautiful work of American art.

Actually since mine is a WWII vintage it would be a M1911 A1 rather than just a M1911, if I recall correctly. I forget all the sub designations on stuff.

Nice rant Steve. But let's not fool ourselves into thinking this will get the RATs back on the right side. Rest assured, their first thoughts when they saw/heard the news was to say to their minions "check the poll numbers, will this make us win?"
It used to be different, when the liberals were still Americans.

I hope our boys are targeting "military" targets with .308 & .50's.
Seize & hold the rooftops, then they'll control the cities.
