Liberal Democrats and the Left-Wing Media are
Responsible for Nick Berg's Death-They Must Apologize My rant earlier today, regarding apologies.

I saw Robert Byrd's face on FOX News a short while ago. I had the volume turned down low, so couldn't hear what he had to say during this *yet another DemocRAT* Congressional Investigation of the Bush Administration (The Iraqi Prisoner Abuse cra*). I don't have to hear it to know he probably was saying something hateful, as always when the camera is on him.
I wish that I lived in Byrd's voting district (I actually don't wish that - *shudder*) only so I could vote AGAINST him and send him correspondence he would (SHOULD) have to answer. I would ask him, "When are you going to apologize, Senator Byrd?" Apologize to the country for your *service* in the KKK ..... apologize to the country for your use of the word ni**er, as recently as just a few years ago, etc. Since you and your lapdog media are REAL BIG on apologies here lately, the next time you get "face time" on national TV, please apologize for this, eh, Senator Byrd !?!
In fact, I may just send him my note anyway. If EVERY TIME he spewed his HATE on national TV his fax machine and email servers would BURN UP from the reaction, maybe, just maybe, he would shut up. But I doubt it.
My sentiment is similar regarding fat ted kennedy and others, as well.

Toll free US capitol switchboard 877-762-8762, just tell them which congress critter you want connected to.
Their defense (and I heard it today from nearly every talking head, even Fred Barnes on Fox, whom I respect immensley) is that "Al Qaeda is bad anyway, this is who they are. They don't need an excuse." All of that is true. But you know what? The publishing of the photos was the vehicle for an excuse. Nick apparently disappeard April 9...long before the photos became public. After the photos were published, he was apparently murdered. No one can say whether he would've been murdered if those photos hadn't been published: some hostages have escaped, others have been freed, right?
Fred Barnes points out the publishing of photos are violations of the Geneva convention. I want to point out the publishing puts our troops in even greater peril. Who knows how this might affect the otherwise good efforts of our noble soldiers?
No, my friends, the publishing of these photos by CBS and The New Yorker is nothing less than disastrous for our efforts to make a peaceful Middle East. You want to find irresponsibility? Look no further than the broadcasting and publishing behemoths that crave an extra rating point more than they desire to see American soldiers survive.
