I hope they've had time to write Nick Berg's name on the side of some of those JDAMs.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.

I've quit watching live firefights reported by Steve Harrigan. He scares me...I don't want to be watching when he gets hurt, and I'm afraid it's going to happen.

Shying away from attacking mosques. What BS!

This is great footage.

If the explosion didn't fry the electronics of the camera, it was the wrong weapon.
To: LibWhacker
They did point out that these arent the major shrines. i translate that to mean they may not be there for much longer.

Their sending troops in because their afraid of harming a religious shrine. I say FU-k their shrines!!!

Revenge may be best served cold, but retribution is delicious as it sizzles fresh off the grill.

Does anyone know what the purpose of the attack is? That is, beyond the obvious intent to break things...

Thanks for the thread, mikegi.
Steve Harrigan: Live, Karbala - FoxNews:
"Support in the town is against the Sadr Militia...
Basically these Bradleys formed a perimeter around the town...
Special Forces entered (at least) 3 - buildings - one of these building is a mosque - it is a local mosque - not one of the two (Holy Shiite shrines)...
US forces on the ground are actually risking their lives (to take out the enemy without hurting the shrines).
Guys from the 1st Armored Division - putting their lives on the line - were supposed to be home already - to crush a group of thugs who have been holding (this city hostage for the past few months)."
Steve also said thinks 2 J-DAMS were dropped, no confirmation.
Loud explosions in the background, Soldiers giving instructions to friends, where names of their loved ones are located in case they don't make it out, alternative route given to Steve Harrigan's driver.
Could be climactic battle of the last few months, and FoxNews cuts to the Kobe Bryant trial.

We once developed a warhead that, while leaving buildings and structures largely intact, stripped the clothes from all life forms within the blast radius and left womens panties on their heads. It was deemed too horrible for world acceptance and scrapped.
