thank you! I frankly think too many freepers are acting like 'sunshine patriots', and are too willing to criticized our president when things are not 100% perfect.

Amazing - well, infuriating, for sure. . .to hear 'Mr. Bush'. . .and Senator Kerry so referenced, side-by-side yet.

Chris Wallace - 'guilty' on Fox News as well; along with a host of others; it just seems to be. . .oooookay.

And, as a post script to my earlier reference to President Bush as Mr. Bush, I spent years in the newsroom of a major daily newspaper where the AP style book is the Bible when it comes to how things are written, stated, etc. Here is what the AP style book says about it:

Actually, the AP Style Book (the bible of all good journalists) tells us that the President must be referred to either as "President ..." or as "Mr. ...". And further, that ONLY the President and dead guys are to be referred to as "Mr. ..." in our stories.

Please believe me when I say that I used that form of addressing as an honor, not a dis.
