LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Bush administration said Tuesday the people who beheaded American hostage Nick Berg in Iraq are enemies of freedom who will be hunted down and brought to justice.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family," White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan said of Berg.
"It shows the true nature of the enemies of freedom. They have no regard for the lives of innocent men, women and children. We will pursue those who are responsible and bring them to justice."

Orenthal James Simpson: "Nicole's real killers who will be hunted down and brought to justice!"

And, as a post script to my earlier reference to President Bush as Mr. Bush, I spent years in the newsroom of a major daily newspaper where the AP style book is the Bible when it comes to how things are written, stated, etc. Here is what the AP style book says about it:
Actually, the AP Style Book (the bible of all good journalists) tells us that the President must be referred to either as "President ..." or as "Mr. ...". And further, that ONLY the President and dead guys are to be referred to as "Mr. ..." in our stories.
Please believe me when I say that I used that form of addressing as an honor, not a dis.

I have lost faith in our military The military is not the ones to lose faith in. The Marines were upset that they were stopped from totally wiping those islamic scums completely out of Fallujah. The military are following instructions.

I agree. I see nothing wrong with calling him Mr. Bush. It is a term of respect in my book. I think you got me confused with somebody else that posted. But, in the spirit of the times, I accept your apology anyway.

President Bush is trying to win the hearts and minds of the Arabs street. Won't happen.

This election is not Bush vs. Kerry. It's Bush vs. the media, and the media is winning. Tragically, the President does not presently have the political standing to escalate the WOT -- at least not now.You are 100% absolutely correct that this election is about Bush vs. the media....
However, George W Bush, regardless of whether he wins a second term, will be remembered as the American president who did, or did not, halt the spread of Islamic terrorism throughout the world. He needs to remember this fact as he decides to create several radioactive lakes in Iraq and other key middle eastern cities...
Hopefully, some of the liberal a$$holes who are concerned about prisoners wearing women's panties will be visiting the area.....

It is kind of a double edged sword at this time (re: in Asia and our image).
While they are disgusted over what happened and the image of America has suffered greatly, they are also impressed that we conduct aggressive, transparent and quick actions to air everything out and bring it out in the open, which kind of counterbalances the initial disgust. In Japan, coverups are a way of life. It is impressive to most Japanese that we get it out there in the open right away, which may be the only silver lining on all of this.

Hillary Clinton would have captured the perps in 24 hours and
they all would have been white guys that voted republican
and lived in battleground states.

Couldn't agree more - nothing but hollow promises. Give it a couple of days and he'll send in a negotiating team... after which he'll apologize.
I'm so f..ing frustrated. We have completely lost any direction for the war - no idea who the enemy is and what to do about it.
