LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Bush administration said Tuesday the people who beheaded American hostage Nick Berg in Iraq are enemies of freedom who will be hunted down and brought to justice.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family," White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan said of Berg.
"It shows the true nature of the enemies of freedom. They have no regard for the lives of innocent men, women and children. We will pursue those who are responsible and bring them to justice."

911 - We will hunt them down & bring them to justice Osama - same as above?
Daniel Pearl - same as above?
Contractors Killed - same as above?
Video Decapitation - same as above?Maybe another Fallujah-like 'ceasefire' will teach them to stop killing and mutilating Americans

The Bush Administration also promised to kill or capture al Sadr and has played footsie with him for over a month. Kill them, beat them, hurt them. They only understand brute physical force at this point.
We've tempted them to fight back by stopping from taking the fight to them. When this administration put political influence into battlefield decisions, like they did at Fallujah, it will hurt us badly.
I'm a big big Bush supporter but I'm tired of words, tired of discussion and want action. Don't tell me, show me. The time is now.

Again, does this nation have the collective stomach to wage total, no-quarter warfare from which there can be only one winnerI'm starting to think that will only happen if the elite in DC and their families are threatened or put in the same situation as others are over there.
Being humane at the cost of MORE American lives in not acceptable.

We are going to get these guys like we got Osama Ben Luden! Yeah, like we got the guys who blew up the USS Cole and those fellows in Samolia who shot down the black hawk helicopter. I'm not going to hold my breath. We go in and act "Roman" or we need to get out as soon as possible.

Good questions you raise. I've been wondering myself. There is a pool of potentially 2Billion Islamikazies and not quite 300 Million Americans, and we are deeply divided. Only a small fraction of Americans have the spine to wage the required fight to win. We can try kill all jihadists, but we need to break their will to fight, before ours does. But the enemy is totally committed to their false religious jihad.

I watched the video and I am still shaking. Those killers need to be paid a visit by delta force. Sorry, but it's gone far beyond that. A few bombs and shock and awe seem to have no effect on these folks. No it's time to wreak absolute havoc, or get the hell out of dodge. One or the two, there is no other alternative,

not acceptable We agree. What now?
As so many Freepers said,
our politicians
are "adults." (They will
act with reasoned detachment.)
But if we vote out
the "adults," the 'Rats
certainly would handle this
worse! What can we do?!

Just like this administration is gonna find the guys behind killing, burning and mutilating the Blackwater contractors in Fallujah?? Yep, you betcha, sure thing, right you are, any day now, don'tcha know. Just give Mr. Bush a bit of time! For gosh sake, don't be so impatient. In due course, we will bring justice to those who killed Mr. Berg and the contractors in Fallujah.

Is it me...or is Bush starting to sound like Clinton when it comes to the ole line "we will hunt down and find who is responsible" and yet back off when the heat in the kitchen gets too hot?
Lame. We needed to level Falujah and we didn't. That would have sent a message. Imagine if there were cameras like there is today during World War 1 and 2? We never would have won jack shit.

In all honesty, I don't think we do. Whether it's political correctness, a fear or Armaggeddon or what, IMHO nobody in the White House or DOD will ever have the guts to pull the trigger on what really and truly needs to be done here. Well, how many deaths are we talking here?

Freepers said, our politicians are "adults." I don't have all the answers, maybe it's high time to send these freaking adults over there, instead of putting our young people in God damn Humvees, so the can get the shit bombed out of them daily. Send in the GD airforce and make some examples of some of these areas. Enough of this street to street, suicide BS. This sh*t could go on for 20 damn years. Enough!

President Bush is trying to win the hearts and minds of the Arabs street. And that is why he is not waging total war on all Arabs, but is rather restricting the warfare to former B'aathists and of course Al Queda elements.
Just be patient, and this strategy will eventually bear fruit.

They are MURDERERS. It is not necessary to justify going after them based on the Iraqi War.
This feels too much like attempts to link abortion and smoking dope to the War on Terror. This administration has the tinnest ears ever occupying the White House. From the initial description of counterterrorism as a 'crusade' to suppressing the lack of support from American Muslims, we have been getting yellow ribbons when the situation requires battle flags. Call off the corps of cringers.

Lots, both us and them. Because we can't do this with long-range weapons. IMHO, really winning this war will require face-to-face, hand-to-hand, close quarters combat of a level not seen since Okinawa or Iwo Jima.

Cavuto talking about Nick Berg in today's Common Sense.
[Text should be available on website in 10 minutes or so.]
Cavuto is right on -- compares the Berg video with the dog-collar picture.

Oh really? The same way we tracked down and brought to justice the killers in Fallujah that killed and mutilated the 4 Americans? Tough talk just doesn't cut it anymore. We left Fallujah with none of those people. This administration better get its act together over there and stop being so PC.
