Nightline to talk about Abuses

Posted on 05/11/2004 12:42:35 PM PDT by gilliam

TONIGHT'S FOCUS: The abuses committed by American soldiers at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison have prompted a storm of outrage. Especially disturbing are late breaking reports this afternoon that an American may have been murdered in retaliation for those abuses. Today, a tense Senate hearing considered the Army's own internal report of these abuses. And despite the enormity of the criticism, both at home and around the world, some are starting to say there has already been too much hand wringing.

Especially disturbing are late breaking reports this afternoon that an American may have been murdered in retaliation for those abuses.

So the media over-hypes the story to inflame public opinion, and then gets all aghast when some terrorists get inflamed and behead an American. Truly despicable.

To hell with those prisoners AND the lamestream media. I'm still enraged about the attacks of 9/11/01. Had I the power, the entire ME region would be a radioactive sea of green glass, our troops would not be dying in Iraq and every damned muslim in the world would be dead or in prison. I prefer dead. The muslims want to kill all infidels, I'm just returning what they're dishing out.

The lamestream media is nothing but a 5th column.

It was reported today on WLS Chicago, that one of the prisoners in the photos was one of the iraqi's that raped Jessica Lynch. They should have turned the juice on.

I think the whole thing is about to backfire right in the media's smug, Leftist faces. And sooner than later.

Americans are getting really sick of Big Media's constant, unrelenting assault on America and her people. Notice how their crediblity is now somewhere just above lawyers and used car salesmen? We're about to see what happens when people in general start to realize that the drum-beating keeping this "scandal" alive is motivated solely by the Democrats and their media-elite allies.

These people are plants
Some photos are reputed to be fakes
It is an effort to dicredit the US Army, it's people, and it's president.

How many "soldiers" out of the many thousands over there?
Are they reservists called up...or enlisteds?
What were their motives?
The truth is coming, and some people are going to be very egg-faced.

When the leftist media cannot see out of the hole...then the digging will stop.

Oh, I think there might be a wee bit of assistance.

Would you stay in the military if John F'n Kerry won? "Yes, please tell me I'm a dupe and a chump, and that everything I did in Iraq was a lie. I'm eager to go die for the country somewhere else, if Commander-In-Chief Kerry tells me to."

The country won't have a military left.

Media Shenanigans ping - NightDNCFAXLine: Especially disturbing are late breaking reports this afternoon that an American may have been murdered in retaliation for those abuses [at Abu Ghraib prison]

Let's see - Iraqi terrorists murder an American in May 2004 because of stuff that happened in 2003.

It's clearly Bush and Rumsfeld's fault for forcing the Democrat media and its little Demi elf Hackworth to release the photos! THOSE BASTARDS!!!

On, Off, or grab it for a Media Shenanigans/Schadenfreude/PNMCH ping:

I thought there was no link to Al Quada and Iraq. So now the press says they are in Iraq? So many flip-flops, so little time!
