I wonder if this was what Rush was talking about Friday?
Hillary May Regret This
By Rush Limbaugh
May 7, 2004
We joined Hillary Clinton's questioning of Donald Rumsfeld during Friday's program which you can hear, along with my expert commentary, in the audio link below.

In the first part of Hillary's question, right before we came out of the break, she was saying that you don't need these pictures to be revulsed. That just reading descriptions of these pictures is enough to revulse anybody.

I'm going to tell you, folks. Mark the date, May 7th, 2004. She and others who say that are going to regret that they said it. I will say no more. I'm just telling you there's a good chance that if we learn all there is to know about this, that describing this as revulsing is going to be really offensive to some people.

We need to start a pool -- how many Pubbies will end up losing their jobs over this?

It seems anytime a scandal happens, whether Dem or Pubbie, only Pubbies end up losing their jobs.

I figure this will be .... 3 Pubbies within the next 2 weeks.

Wrong. The whistleblewer slipped a CD under the door of his CO. Others may have done what you said but the whistleblower went public in January.

Exactly correct. The blackmailer and his buddy, Hackworth, went public recently. Ivan "Chip" Frederick got caught, his Uncle Bill tried to blackmail the military by threatening to expose the whole deal to the public. The military would not look the other way for Chippy boy so Lawson started shopping his story around and found a taker in Hackworth.

Why shouldn't they be listed if they failed to act?

Who's saying they shouldn't be listed? Name them all! I'd like to know who had a heads up as well.

How can you prove you sent a letter unless you have the Post Office's security film? For the matter, how can senators prove that they DIDN'T receive the letters?

In releasing those pictures straight to the media, Hackworth made a concious decision to HARM the military. I will not put anything beyond him.

Wonder if this is why Kerry has been virtually silent on this.

He has been silent because he can sit back and watch other do his bidding on this one.

"Hack is in league with the Kerry camp."

So glad someone finally brought that up. Even back when W was going to UN about Iraq, HACKWORTH WAS ALL OVER THE TUBE BASHING THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION. He has always seemed like a "kook" to me!

Just in case you were wondering, the worst typo I have ever seen here was "superannuated nuclear teaty"

I saw one that beats that but I don't know if it qualifies. This was an honest to goodness AP headline posted by John Huang II.

Texas Families Asses Blast Damage

(Should have been Texas Families Assess Blast Damage).

Its the predictable outcome of the 2 Party system. Everybody wants thier "side" to win at all costs, so they'll forgive whatever transgressions their "side" is a part of. If you're a professional politician, you couldn't ask for a better set up.

I've heard that it was Lawrence, then that it was Fredericks. I corrected - I thought - "Lawrence" to "Fredericks" yesterday in my notes on this fiasco. SHEESH! And what website is he going to publish them on?

Kerry is walking on eggshells here because HE himself admitted to committing "war crimes."

A family member of one of those charged in the abuse investigation stated that they wrote to 17 members of Congress in January about what was going on, but never got a response from a single person in DC.

That's not unusual. And, one would most likely only receive a reply from the senators that represent the state they are living in...

Plus with all the problems with the mail in DC, they are probably hung up in some quarantined area......

Maybe he's on the list. He had basically locked up the nomination at that point- late Dec early Jan. If someone wanted to make trouble for leadership than Kerry would be a good bet. Who better to tell war atrocities to than one who has already committed them?

For the matter, how can senators prove that they DIDN'T receive the letters?

Any member of Congress worth anything should keep a file of all letters sent and received by his or her office (or at least a log of who sent the letters). Not to do otherwise would be foolish, since it would open then up to unsubstantiated attacks of being non-responsive to constituent concerns.

Hackworth better tread carefully here if he thinks he will get away with accusing congresscritters falsely. It's an election year for most. They will bite back.

"I wonder if this was what Rush was talking about Friday?"

Probably. All of us who missed Rush to hear all of the testimony said it too.

Careful. If Hackworth is the one releasing the names they may all be Republicans.

I would not be surprised if Hack did that ..
