I believe the gentleman who blew the whistle on the prison abuse sent photos FIRST to 17 Senators and got no response so he contacted Hackworth and got action. Why did the Senators not come forth? It will be huge!

A family member of one of those charged in the abuse investigation stated that they wrote to 17 members of Congress in January about what was going on, but never got a response from a single person in DC.

Get 18 Senators and you can have a baseball game.

The Senators couldn't play baseball worth a damn. That's why Washington lost the franchise. ;o)

Boy, and all this time I thought Hack was an ardent supporter of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policiy.

Big deal. Let me do a quick Google search, and I'll hand you all 100 names, alphabetized by state.

These are the 17 Senators who supposedly were informed of the Iraqi prisoner abuses. Those Senators did nothing, so Hackworth broke the story to the Press.

Hackworth is a loose cannon, not a supporter of our military, and was backing Wesley Clark for the dem nomination. If he's releasing the names, there's a good chance Republicans will be amoung the recipients.

Might explain how Hillary said, during the Rumsfeld testimony, that she was aware of problmens for some time.

Careful. If Hackworth is the one releasing the names they may all be Republicans.

Did he specifically say "senators"? Last I knew, it was "members of congress".

Why do we need the names of Senators?

Because they were unresponsive to being notfied of a war crime.
