Actually, it's a well known fact that those circles were caused by either the giant round beaked chicken of Africa, or giant ringworms.
But then again, it could have been the dreaded African Henway.

I don't know what got into me. I just couldn't resist trying that old joke after seeing those pictures and reading that story. It just sorta seemed like a natural.
Now, I don't know if Loyalist was just being kind to ask the right question or if he fell for the gag, but it sure helps to have a good straight man - knowingly or unwittingly. heheh
