In today's testimony before the Armed Services Committee Hillary Clinton may have revealed the source of the leak of the report. Please have a look at the relevant snippets of the transcript from today.
I guess my theory is this: If she isn't behind the leak, she knows exactly who is.

Hill is bad about broad generalizations like "everybody knows", "we all know", etc. It is her way of belittling people. Hope this time it bites her in her rather substantial bottom.

I'm referring to the mission in my original post: to call attention to the moment, by hint, to those in the press and public savvy enough to pay attention and catch the reference.
To my ears, it was about as subtle as a knee to the groin.

I don't know. I do know that if Rumsfeld asks for something he better get it.
Especially since it seems to be his head on the block.

Yeah, as if any of these people are going to take the fall for anything. How much do you recall of what happened 4 months ago?
It's going to be forgotten in a month. Just wait and see what kind of defense lawyers these people get.
I'm pasting this around because I didn't want to open a new thread. OK with you?

It doesn't take a lot of imagination to read those descriptions and have one's stomach just turn in disgust. Actually, the only time my stomach "turns in disgust" is when I see or hear Mrs. Hitlary, or any liberal for that matter!!

I had heard the same---giving up her Armed Services seat to Hillary was Landreu's payoff for Clinton (Bill) help in getting Landreu reelected to the Senate.

Rumsfeld's success has been in his ability to clearly communicate and respond in a forthright manner.
Only a few in an one-on-one setting would have picked up, as fast as he did, that slip by Hillary! as she sort of rambled on.
She was unprepared by that response, and was visably shaken afterwards.

Reviewed your reply again, I see what you are trying to say. I think his being a "nobody" makes it more likely, he's a joke, a parlor act. They take him out and put him onstage whenever an anti-Bush remark needs to be made, they get a laugh and he doesn't realize that he's half the joke.

The real shame about intelgate or whatever, is that Hannity broke it but it fell flat and died. Even Hannity couldn't keep it going at Fox.

Over at DU they're arguing about why Gore lost!!!!!! Now they're blaming it on Leiberman!!!!What totally puzzles the dimocrats is that they had the fix in place - and still lost!

Clinton moles buried in the Pentagon?
To: A Citizen Reporter; abner
I'm confused....
Is the issue here Clinton's knowledge of the pictures, the Taguba report or both?
As far as I can tell, Clinton asserted that the report was well known, and Rumsfeld simply wondered how she could know that.
She never said anything about any knowledge as to the pictures themselves other than how the Taguba report characterized them.
However, the fact that she dismisses any discussion as to their (pictures) release as "missing the point" is telling.
